The Space:

Ocean Forest Villas is located in the upscale north end of the city of Myrtle Beach, about two miles from the downtown hotel section. It is close to restaurants, shops, entertainment, and other attractions. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, range, microwave/range hood, along with a dining room table to enjoy meals in your condo. The bedroom features a 3 queen beds with a Tempurpedic mattress, for additional sleeping space, there is a sleeper sofa in the living area.



Parking at the resort is free. When arriving please go to the front desk in order to obtain the vehicle tag(s) and just let them know which condo you are staying at.



The resort does provide towels for the pool area, however asks for guests not to bring them to the beach. Please bring your beach towels along with any beach accessories.

The Neighborhood:

The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, range, microwave/range hood, along with a dining room table to enjoy meals in your condo. A large swimming pool AND BEST OF ALL FREE WIFI!

Other Things to Note:

Important notes:

- No trailers, watercraft, golf carts, mopeds, or scooters are not permitted to park at the resort.

- Orange cones were placed between the A & B Buildings ahead of a delivery of materials for replacement of the sun decks starting next week. After Sunday, please do not park in the areas between the cones.

- The E Spa is open, but the heater is currently not functioning properly. Repairs are in progress.

- Please do not use the dumpster supplied by the contractor replacing the sundecks. This is NOT for public/resident use.

- The resort is undergoing improvement projects. Expect some construction activity and daytime noise. Units remain fully functional and comfortable.

The location of this unit is nice. The unit itself is decent, but the carpets are heavily soiled and the couch smelled like urine. Most of the dishes i had to clean to use. The host listed several amenities, such as a lazy river and indoor pool and jacuzzi, that were not part of this resort. When I contacted the host, she ignored me and only attempted to sell me extra nights. She claimed she would 'get in touch with rental company' but kept calling it her place. Do not trust this place or the rental company. Julie is a liar.

An excellent experience!

The property was perfect for two adults and two teenagers. It was beautiful, very clean, and close to everything. The amenities were wonderful. Julie was fantastic with her communication! We loved the balcony, having a full kitchen, and having enough space for everyone. We will definitely return and stay here when we are in the area! I would definitely recommend this!

Super SoCar!

The condo's photos don't lie! The place was neat, mostly quiet, and well cared for. Stayed with my two sons (19 & 15) and we had easy and quick access to the pool and beach. The instructions on getting into the property were easy and thorough. The neighborhood was great, the other guests/tenants were respectful and everyone did their part to keep the property clean. I was a little worried when reading reviews of the entire building, thinking the unit we were in might be in bad shape, but #206 was great! Would definitely stay there again if our travels take us back to South Carolina. Thanks for a great stay!

Not a relaxing experience

Our experience with this rental property was incredibly disappointing. Firstly, the check-in process was excessively invasive, requiring photos of our driver's license (photo holding ID) and credit card. They also will charge you if you check-in a moment prior to 4pm but failed to send the access code at 4pm - causing me to have to email and text them numerous times. Upon entering, we were hit with a strong odor of marijuana and cigarette smoke, indicating poor cleaning between guests. They offered to provide us a unit to clean the air but we would have to vacate the unit for the duration of use. The dishes were unwashed and there was noticeable damage to much of the furniture. The beds are uncomfortable and the neighbors were loud each night causing us not to have restful evenings. The oven didn't work at all, which severely impacted our ability to cook. Worse still, Big Fish Rental managing the property flouted HOA rules, providing us with an improper parking pass that nearly got our car towed. The company will also charge you for everything per the rental agreement so it was a shock to see that the standards they set for their renters are not upheld on their end. Overall, this rental property and its management were highly unprofessional and failed to meet even basic standards of cleanliness, functionality, and compliance. We strongly advise against staying here and recommend finding accommodations elsewhere that respect guests' privacy and adhere to proper standards.
