Book Our Newly Renovated 3 Bedroom Oceanfront Gem in the "Island Vista Building"

Our incredible condo/vacation home is located on the 2nd floor right in the heart of the resort. You will love all of the new modern furnishings and feel the comfort and luxury a soon as you enter the property. High end furnishings including patio furniture, flooring, appliances and window treatments truly make our condo one of the best on the grand strand. The condo building known as 'Island Vista' was built in 2006 with all first class amenities and has a true resort feel. Our condo is located in a quiet residential neighborhood known as the 'GOLDEN MILE'. Located on over 500 feet of sandy beach and is situated on one of the least crowded areas in Myrtle Beach. You will be near the action and away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. As soon as we walked on the property of Island Vista, we knew this was the place we would call home.

Our condo is very spacious (50% larger than the typical Myrtle Beach Suite) and has all the upscale interior appointments such as granite counter tops, tray ceilings, tile flooring & a Jacuzzi tub you should expect. Our home is DIRECT oceanfront and offers spectacular ocean views from the living room and kitchen area as well as the master bedroom. It also includes a large living room and a dining room for family dinners and each bedroom is equipped with a 32" OR larger LCD flat panel TV and a private bath. The large master bath also offers granite counter tops, double vanities and a large Jacuzzi tub. And don’t forget we have a “FULL SIZED” washer and dryer in our condo for your convenience.

We have all the amenities at our resort and the area is just perfect for your family. And since the weather is wonderful all year long, whether you’re here for a family vacation, a winter retreat, a romantic getaway, a men's golf retreat or even a girl’s weekend getaway, “Anytime is a Good Time” to visit Myrtle Beach. But even if you want to just hang out, the onsite restaurant, Tiki hut bar and grill, wonderful pool complex, hot tubs, tanning lawn and the list goes on and on, make it the perfect getaway!!

Even though our kitchen is wonderful and totally stocked with everything you need, you might want to visit the full service upscale restaurant in our resort, 'The Cypress Room” which has one of the best breakfasts on the Strand. It is open for breakfast and dinner daily, so enjoy the oceanfront dining at its best. This restaurant opened in the original Sea Island 30 years ago and has created a following of locals. It is recognized as one of the best on the Grand Strand.

When you find yourself lying in the sun around one of the 3 pools, you can also enjoy the “Tiki Hut Bar and Grill”, a favorite of ours featuring frozen drinks, cocktails and casual food at reasonable prices. We hope you decide to choose our home away from home for your vacation. I’m confident you will start building family traditions and memories of your own in our beach haven. Our home offers elegant comfort, extra room for relaxing and a view of the beach that will last in your hearts long after your vacation is over. We know you will enjoy your time and hope to welcome you as a valued guest that visits with us every year.

This condo is privately owned and rentals are strictly available through private rental agreement with the owner, NOT through the resort management company Island Vista Holding Company LLC. The resort management company offers a bell-service, room service and snow-bird activities that are not available to private rental guests. ALL resort amenities (pools, gardens, gym, parking garage, restaurant etc) are ALL available for private guests without restriction. Because my unit is on the second floor, it is very easy to park on the same floor as the condo to unload your belongings. I also provide my own beach towels for my private guests not able to use the management company pool towel machine. Please contact the host for details of all amenities, date restrictions and with any questions.

Beautiful and Relaxing

The owner Gary made sure that we had all of the information we needed for our stay. The home is absolutely beautiful and located on the second floor, which is very convenient. The resort I don’t think could be more relaxing and well organized. We had one of the most relaxing family vacations we’ve ever had. We cannot wait to book again.

Newly Renovated 3 Bedroom Oceanfront Island Vista Gem

We had a great time on our vacation at the Island Vista. The resort was very nice, staff was friendly and helpful. The condo we stayed in was great, had plenty of room for all of us, and everything we needed during our stay, couldn't have asked for a better place. The owner's (Gary & Lisa) were amazing to deal with, we had a small issue when we arrived. Gary was very responsive, and had it fixed within the hour of our arrival. We would definitely stay there again!

Family trip

This condo is in a perfect location and the beach access was definitely a plus!!! Overall the condo was clean and we had a few hiccups due to the prior renters in the beginning however the host was amazing and took care of the issues very promptly. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kiddos 21, 19 & 15) and we had plenty of space to spread out. The balcony was great and I enjoyed my coffee and book out there every morning while I took in the sounds and views of the ocean. We took advantage of the full kitchen having breakfast and lunch in and there are plenty of grocery stores to get what you might need. If we visited again, we would for sure reach out to stay here again!!

Fantastic 4th of July Getaway

We loved this condo and all it offered! This property is perfect for a family. We had 7 people total with 2 being children and never felt cramped or crowded. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. Beds were comfy. The pools and grounds were kept tidy. The elevator and parking were both extremely convenient. Gary was responsive to emails and texts from before the trip to checking out. We hope to visit again.

Relaxing stay

Our vacation experience with Gary was as every bit as amazing as we had hoped. Communication with Gary was easy and he responded immediately to any questions we might have. The property was large enough to accommodate our family of five and had everything that we needed to make our stay as relaxing as possible. Gary has thought of everything. The location of the property was perfect! We were close enough to many attractions, mini golf, and many restaurants. The access to the beach was a major plus. Luxury at it's best!!!!

My siblings and I took Dad & Mom to Myrtle Beach after finding out that my father had cancer. We wanted a condo away from the grandstand area which would allow us to spend quality time together yet, was convenient. Gary's unit was the perfect place. It is absolutely gorgeous. I am a stickler for cleanliness and found the unit clean and fresh. Located in a more upscale area at the North side of the city, the location was convenient to everything. Gary thought of everything, a fully equipped kitchen (we cooked every meal in the beautiful kitchen with more than enough pots, pans, dishes, etc.), bathrooms for every bedroom, plenty of seating area, puzzles, books, etc. The view from the balcony is fabulous. The beach was practically private. We parked in the parking garage, on the same floor as the unit which catered to Dad's needs. Gary was so easy to work with and continued correspondence with me up throughout our visit. My family will absolutely book Gary's condo again! Thank you Gary.

Best vacation!

We arrived a bit early a little after 3 when check in is typically 4 I messaged Gary to see if we could possibly get in earlier he responded quickly (like he had done the entire process) saying it was clean and all ready for us, went directly there parked on level 2 and condo was right there easy code access..went in it smelled and looked amazing! Yall this place had everything we needed from the closet full of toys, to the large balcony, to the comfy beds( I need this topper) the large couch and seating in general in every area was perfect for us! I told Gary before we even left that we were already planning to come back next year. We were able to hang at the beach/pool area during the day(plenty of towels for that in the room already)and tiki bar was an added bonus then back up to the room to enjoy the hot shower or jacuzzi tub(plenty of bath towels,hand towels and wash cloths) we would head out then once back to the condo we would enjoy the restaurant/bar just downstairs or sit up in the room and enjoy board games or cards or back out on the balcony with a glass of wine! If you are considering this condo stop thinking and book it...we are coming back to this most perfect condo and the location is unbeatable close to everything but beach isnt crowded at all! Thank you Gary for making this our best trip to date. Cant wait to return!

Island Vista was exactly the spot we wanted. Such a quiet part of the beach and the pools were perfect for kids of all ages. The unit was clean and the beds were amazing!! I would recommend Island Vista and this unit all day.

Spring Getaway April 2025

We have stayed at Island Vista before and really love the resort, the amenities and the proximity to many great locations. The condo was very roomy and had a wonderful view of the ocean. The furnishings and cleanliness of the condo was very nice. Some drawbacks on this specific room: The location of the room and the door is less than 6 feet away from the elevator and you can hear the ding each time someone gets on it from the two bedrooms that face the main hallwayThe hot water takes around 3-5 minutes to get warm. We contacted the owner who indicated there were some repairs that were to have been made the week prior that must not have been completed. There is no secured internet in the room. The only option is the resort WiFi which is not secured. The only smart TV in the condo is in the living room. The other TVs have basic cable only. The slider on the balcony does not lock currently. The owner says this happens every few years and the normal prep for busy season hasn’t occurred yet. Lastly if you have stayed at the resort before and rented through the resort, you are familiar with the pool towels that the resort provides. This service is not available for anyone that rents through VRBO so you will need to bring your pool and beach towels with you.

Another perfect week at Island Vista

Property is in the perfect location. Close to everything, but a nearly private beach because it’s located in a mostly residential area. Gary was great with the communication, and always so fast to respond to my questions. The updates to this unit are beautiful. We’ve stayed all over this resort, and this one was awesome.

We will be back!

We used to go to Myrtle Beach all the time. It’s been 10 years since the last time and the place we used to stay at wasn’t the same from what we heard. So my wife found Island Vista. The owners were very personable, they reached out to us and were responsive to all our questions. In the end, it felt like we were staying with family. It was a beautiful place!
