Hanalei - Pet Friendly - Directly Opposite Waterfront
Situated directly across from beautiful Currambene Creek, with a short walk to the world-famous pure white sands of Jervis Bay. There you can float under blue skies in water as crystal clear as a mountain stream and your four-legged friend can run for kilometres and the kids can play in the water without care whilst the adults relax.
Hanalei at Myola is great for the beach, bird watching, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking. You can explore tranquil waters or take a short ferry ride across the creek to the shops, cafes, and restaurants of Huskisson.
You’ll be staying at a beautifully renovated cottage set in a lovely bush setting. The highlight of this property is the back deck which is surrounded by a panorama of bushland and mature trees. Sit and listen to the birds whilst you enjoy beautiful sea breezes sweeping off the bay or throw a ball to the dog in the fully fenced, pet-friendly garden.
When you do come inside your only difficulty will be deciding how to relax. Maybe kick back on the couch under the air conditioning and enjoy a movie or reconnect over a well-contested board game. Whilst the kids and dog play you can be busy uploading your amazing holiday photos using the complimentary unlimited wifi or kicking back and watching Netflix.
In the back garden, the aspiring chef can show off their culinary skills on the BBQ before family and friends gather around to laugh, tell tales and enjoy a memorable feast.
When it’s finally time to hit the hay, you’ll find 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds, warm showers, extra pillows, and blankets if you need them and plenty of storage for all your things. Fans for summer and heaters for winter will keep you so comfortable that you won’t want to get up the next day. But you’ll already know from our exclusive guidebook that there are so many things to see and do in the Jervis Bay area – from where to shop and where to dine out to in-the-know local knowledge of the area’s “hidden secrets” that you’ll want to jump out of bed and explore.
But before you head out for the day be sure to enjoy a lazy holiday breakfast on the back deck or at the breakfast bar where the barista of the family can test their cappuccino making skills on the espresso machine.
Holidays are precious and memories are forever. We invite you to make beautiful family memories with us at Hanalei.

The location of the house is great for fishing, located just in front of the creek, the boat ramp is a couple of hundred metres, so is the ferry wharf, the house is very well maintained, everything needed for the stay was available,
Beautiful location opposite the river. Comfy bed. Heater provided. Outdoor chairs on the verandah a lovely place to sit. Lots of birds and kangaroos in the garden. Walk to the beach. One small niggle was a hot water system in the shower that was hard to keep a consistent temperature but otherwise all good.
We had a wonderful time at Hanalei. We will definitely be back again. The dogs had a great time. Everything provided at the house made the stay very comfortable and inviting.
The house was clean and comfortable.
Perfect location for our boys paddling weekend.

Short stay
A great little weekender. Top location. Good rooms, kitchen, lounge and dining. The bathroom however too cramped. Needs a proper shower instead of shower in bath. When using the toilet banged your head on the shower screen! Otherwise a relaxing stay.
House was lovely, location was ideal however Professional Holiday Homes Calla Bay who manage the property were less than professional and capable in their management. On arrival the backyard was littered with the previous guests dog poo which we had to pick up.No gas in gas bbq bottle and no spare bottle anywhere despite the handbook instructions stating there was one.A face washer was supplied in place of a tea towel. There was only one bath mat and hand towel provided between two bathrooms. We called the after hours number supplied and the person I spoke to took a message and said somebody would call back during office hours but nobody called. We then rang the office number repeatedly, placed in a queue only to be disconnected or left a number to be called back on as directed but nobody called. It was only when we went to the IGA at Callala Bay on our last day that we discovered the office. We went in and was greeted by staff who only gave excuses why our calls went unanswered and to the reason behind the sparse linen supplied and that we could have got a gas bottle from the local provided however how would we know this because it wasn’t in the handbook and nobody took our calls. We paid a premium price to be there at that peak time it is not our fault that you are understaffed and unprofessional. I would definitely rent the house again but under different management. And despite filling a complaint form nobody has followed up.
We had a wonderful stay at Hanalei in Myola with my Mum and our dog Rosie. The house was clean, inviting, and very comfortable – a real home away from home. Rosie loved exploring the secure fenced yard, and the well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed. Having two bathrooms was great, especially for my Mum who preferred the walk-in shower. The location near the water was so peaceful, and we loved watching the native birds and even kangaroos nearby. Such a beautiful property in a relaxing spot – we’ll definitely be back!
Property was reasonably clean inside and well equipped. Location was great, opposite lake and mins from Callala beach. The back deck could do with a clean.
Close to everything awesome except not enough towels for amount of people who were registered to stay. Other than that very quite and nice stay over all.
This is a beautifully maintained property, set beside a quiet stretch of water. It suffers slightly from being quite remote from shops and other amenities, but is an ideal place for a complete getaway from it all. One small issue for us on arrival was the fact that the bbq gas bottle and the jets had been left open, meaning there was a strong gas odour and the bottle needed to be replaced. A small glitch only.
Property was clean, kitchen has many utensils, nothing we couldn’t find. King bed very comfortable. Tv and Netflix great. Well stocked with books and games. Extra blankets etc. 2 extra bath towels would be good if staying longer. Lovely location, would recommend to others.
