The location of this villa is truly outstanding. Being situated directly in front of the iconic Mykonos windmills is a major advantage, and the views and proximity to the heart of Mykonos Town are excellent. The host was also very kind, responsive, and genuinely helpful whenever we needed assistance.
However, there were several aspects of the property that we believe future guests should be aware of.
The master bathroom is extremely small. The shower is so compact that an average-sized adult can barely move or turn around comfortably while bathing. Additionally, because there is no shower curtain or enclosure, water spreads throughout the bathroom floor every time the shower is used, making the experience quite inconvenient.
The second bathroom was larger and more comfortable, but we noticed mold in several areas, which affected our overall impression of cleanliness and maintenance.
Perhaps the most important point is access to the villa. Guests should be informed in advance that there are two possible access points. One is very close to the windmills and allows for a relatively easy arrival, while the other is through the Old Port area. Unfortunately, we were not given this information. Our transportation dropped us off at the Old Port, and we had to drag our luggage through the steep, crowded, cobblestone streets of Mykonos Town—a difficult experience that could have been completely avoided with proper arrival instructions.
