HFX Airport Hotel
8/10 Good
"We picked this hotel for its proximity to the airport and the price. Room was updated but hotel overall is a bit run down. Also we took the very last parking spot. Doesn’t seem to have enough for the hotel capacity due to construction."
Hilton Garden Inn Halifax Airport
8/10 Good
"The place was great! Only thing missing was a hot tub. Parking is great and the restaurant is fantastic. Great menu and drinks"
Sandman Signature Dartmouth Hotel & Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent property, the staff who checked me in was amazing. I was traveling with two elderly adults and they were very accommodating to find rooms close to each other. The property is brand new and beautiful"
Nalu Retreat & Nordic Spa
10/10 Excellent
"We found Nalu Retreat to be a true gem! The Dome was just like it appears in the photos. Everything was clean, clean, clean and tastefully done. As a former boutique hotel manager & chef I was impressed with the attention to detail. Comfortable leather sofa, extra throws, nature sounds, plenty of plugs, kitchen supplies, Robes, Turkish towels, goodies in the kitchenette, too many to mention. We were enthralled with the setting and enjoyed our time in the hot tub and the privacy surrounding us. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the fire pit but appreciated it being there of hope to get a chance next visit. We would love to go back and stay longer. The staff is responsive and friendly. Three things that might make for an even better stay. (1). The retreat sends you a video that you must watch to receive the WIFI instructions. I did not see that email until we were on Myra Road approaching the driveway and just then we lost cell service. (2.) You may lose cell service approaching the retreat. That made for a stressful hour or so…driving back in the opposite direction to find wifi/cell service to continue watching the video…then retrace our drive to find the dome. Maybe it could be sent to guests earlier? (3). The bed itself was not so great, a high end mattress would make a longer stay much more enjoyable and would fit well with all the other top notch amenities this lovely place has to offer. Book it! You will love it!"

The Fourth Lock Bed & Breakfast
10/10 Excellent
"We arrived in the evening to find that we needed the code to enter. We called the number on the door and received a text with all the instructions for entry! Lovely room with lots of accents and knicknacks. Soft comfortable bed and lots of hot water. There was a restaurant on site with very good pub food. Great restful one night stay after 8 hours in flight."
Hearthstone Inn Boutique Hotel Halifax - Dartmouth
8/10 Good
"My wife and I were kind of scared when we first pulled up to the property as it is located in a very shady part of town. But once inside, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. There was a bar, the wifi worked, the TV was a smart TV. The complimentary breakfast was top notch. The staff were very helpful. Other than the location, this place is a diamond in the rough."
