"Handwasing the dishes was not expected and whomever did them before us did not do a good job. But otherwise it was clean and roomy. The creek on the property is a drainage strip."

"This property is in a lovely, private setting overlooking Lake Superior with a huge yard with beautiful trees. The home is comfortable and clean with lots of books and interesting artwork throughout the place. The kitchen is well supplied with cookware, dishes and utensils. There is plenty of comfortable seating. Everything was very clean. There were plenty of towels. It is a short drive or walk into Grand Marais. In town, there are plenty of eateries and a lovely beach, Agate Beach, renown for its beautiful rocks."

"The only suggestion is to light the walk way from the parking to door. But I would recommend this property to anyone. Vey clean and comfortable. It was like home away from home."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean, cozy, and the owner clearly puts in a lot of effort and care into this place. There’s plenty of sleeping space and parking (we had one couple and two single adults, two cars), lots of indoor activities to do for the family (games, pingpong, etc), full kitchen, and the washer dryer was perfect for after our hike earlier that day in the rain. Do be mindful of how much hot water you use within a short period of time if you have a lot of people, we were out after the third person."

"The property was spacious. The lake view was spectacular. The location was awesome. It was great to walk right through the yard and be at the lake. Having beach access was why we chose the property. It was also great to walk to the small town and eat at the restaurants. Food was amazing and we really liked the local coffee shop. The only negatives were that it was a little musty and there was some mildew in the shower."
