"The first room was horrible. There was dirt and dust around the beds and the wallpaper was peeling off of the walls, there was hair in the shower and the drain was clogged. There had to move us to another room and we need an extra bed so they brung a stained mattress on a dolly. We had to ask for a better mattress since they didn’t have any let out beds. I was really disappointed when I expected to stay here for my birthday and have a great experience. "

"AC was inconsistent and loud Was given 4-12x12 pillows and a very light comforter Front desk said had no extra pillows, or actual bed pillows or comforters I’ve stayed here at least 6 times over the last few years and will be my last time "

"Loved the location as you can walk to a lot of restaurants close to French quarters. I did not get the room i booked upon check in but Taylor fixed the issue for me the next day once a king room became available. Room was clean but definitely needs some upgrades, surroundings were quiet so perfect for a nap and goodnight sleep. I would stay there again as it was also affordable. "

"It went well except the need for more towels and washcloths. When I called the front desk one staff member, and I’m not certain who, didn’t understand why I needed more than the two washcloths provided when there were two people staying in the room-I’m sorry but I don’t use the same rag to wash my face and the rest of my body! On the day the room was supposed to be cleaned, housekeeping didn’t show up until almost 5pm."

"The whole experience was awesome from top to bottom.The staff were inviting, friendly, and exceeded every expectation or necessity from valet, to check-in/check-out, concierge service, bellhops, and even cleaning lady calling and making sure we got our forgotten items returned. The building and room were immaculate, beautiful, and elegant with a nice historic feel."

"Engine 24 Firehouse was everything we had hoped and more. The house was spacious with comfortable beds, well equiped kitchen and game area. The owner was wonderful to work with and very responsive to our inquiries. And the Marigny area was so interesting with beaurtiful historic homes and neighborhood restaurants. Our combined families had a wonderful time, never felt crowded, and thouroghly enjoyed our stay!"
