"As soon as I walked into the room, I knew something was not right. There was no bedspread on the bed, and there were three pillows, only two of which were in pillowcases, sitting on the nightstand stand. I just assumed they were trying to save money by cutting back on linens. I grabbed one of the pillows and started to take a nap and shortly thereafter discovered a bug crawling on my arm. I looked inside the pillow case and saw one other live bug and two dead ones. The room also did not have a phone which was unusual for Motel 6. It just felt like I got the room on the end that was devoted to hourly rate customers. I complained at the desk and they assigned me to a new room which did in fact match my normal Motel 6 expectations. I have no idea what was going on with that first room assignment. "

"Clean rooms and great daytime staff and overall a good value. Not many other options in the area to choose from. Elevators weren’t working during our stay and had to use stairs but we didn’t mind the exercise except when carrying luggage up and down. Nighttime staff was nonexistent. Waited 10 minutes trying to find someone to check out and no one was in the building which was concerning. "

"Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, staff was nice and quick check in, and great air conditioning. I would definitely consider staying again."

"Hotel was very easy to locate. Staff was very nice and cooperative. Very neat and very clean. The breakfast was delicious and hot. Next time I’m in the area I will stay there."

"It was the worst communication I’ve ever experienced I talked the 2 people the day I was arriving to my hotel and they both were very respectful and told me the check on time I gave them was okay as long as I let them know. I call I hr before I get there a new lady at the desk so rude told me I could check into my room even after I told her I talked to 2 people that same day and someone else a couple days prior to my booking. I would like to say I’m very disappointed "

"The Motel was a little older ,Style-wise" but was clean and well maintained. Staff was pleasant. Close to the Battlefield of Vicksburg..A must for history buffs."
