"The room was in the basement with no hot water, small, and dark. The pool was the size of a large bathtub, and all small clean little prison compound.
It would of suffice for a night or two, for about a 1/4 of the price i paid. But at $160 a night, it sucked.
Worst hotel.com place ive ever stayed in Costa Rica."

"Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects.
That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...
