"A very unique hotel and room but I enjoyed it - I was comfortable and the service was friendly. The breakfast was light by big hotel standards but coffee, bread and other fare were good! Like many other hotels the room is for sleeping not for lounging but the common areas are very inviting. "

"Don't let the tired facade put you off, the room was clean and in good condition. Air conditioning was cold and the shower was hot and good pressure. The bed was comfy and the location is perfect, right next to the train station. Don't judge a book by it's cover!"

"Very nice and welcoming owners, who are keen to exchange experiences. Situated in lovely Ardennes valley, quiet and relaxed. Lovely view from large room overlooking the garden."

"A charming old building within sight of the castle. Cafe and bar open all day. Great menu for the evening. Excellent breakfast facilities. Rooms on the street a little noisy at night but beds comfortable. "

"The hotel location was perfect! Just a few minutes walk from all the events at the center of town. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and great quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful but they were so short staffed they were unable to hold our luggage until the afternoon on our departure day ( because they would need to close the hotel for a few hours). There was no other luggage storage option in town so we had to walk around with our luggage for 3 hours ( until our train departure time). For a 4 star hotel, that was not great…"
"The hotel is very centrally located and has parking. We arrived on 3 motorbikes and were met with a small beer by a memnber of staff. This was a lovely touch. Breakfast is very continental but there was sufficient food available. A perfect stay"

Country house for 15 people, waterfront in the Ardennes nature park
8/10 Good
"Very nice and quiet place along side the river Meuse.Big living room with great view over the river, separate dining room and big kitchen. Basement has a pool table, sleeping rooms, toilet and bathroom. 2nd kitchen, with access to the garden. The 2nd floor contains the other sleeping rooms, some of them with own bathroom, separate bathroom and toilets.Big garden with Jeu de boule track and mostly grass. You can park your cars on the property behind the fence, the 3 garages are locked however and not accessible. Beware the house has a lot off stairs, this could be a problem when you have difficulties walking. The house has no mosquito and fly nets, in the evenings this gives problems when you open the windows to cooldown the house, there is no airco. In our case there were a lot of little flies.Cleaning could be better, a lot of dust, especially the kitchen in the basement could use a good cleaning job, mold in the bathroom and fridge. BBQ very dirty, cigarettes from former guest not cleaned up was a bit of a shame. Our overall stay was good, we enjoyed being there and will recommend the place when you are with a big party or family."
