"Beautiful stay at this hotel, it was spotless with great amenities. The pool was a great bonus. It is worth paying extra for a castle view room. Plenty of parking on the street out the front of the hotel. Lots of lovely places to eat close by."

"Charming hotel in a unique position with excellent access to the main square for dining and shopping. The bar and breakfast room are lovely. Staff all friendly and also helpful when necessary eg our kettle didn’t work. (Quickly replaced). Our bathroom sliding door seemed to be missing a handle but forgot to mention as it did have a recessed finger pull. Saumur was an amazing place and we really enjoyed our short stay on the way back to Caen to catch the ferry home. Will return at some point as soon as much to see."

"Très bon accueil et hôte disponible rapidement. Nous avons apprécié cette réservation qui se trouve très proche du centre ville, nous évitant de prendre la voiture pour aller au restaurant ou se promener sur les bords de Loire. Nous retenons l'adresse pour notre prochaine visite."

"Een geweldig huis om met een grote familie te verblijven. Het staat op een prachtige plek, om de hoek van het centrum van Saumur. Het contact met de host Gilles was makkelijk en heel prettig. Het huis heeft allerlei mogelijkheden; zoals een fijne keuken. Gezellig eten in de tuin."

"The apartment was perfectly placed on the south side of the River Loire.easy walking distance to the popular St Pierre's Square for plenty of restaurants. We were there during the 2026 heatwave but the building was built in the 1760s and with management of the shutters stayed cool throughout. There are three good supermarkets two of which are "hyper". We really enjoyed it and if there is anything you need I'm sure Aliona will be able to help"
