The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice and simple with some healthy options. There's a nice swimming pool on the rooftop and the location was great. Easily get to the beach within 5 minutes of walking. Unfortunately we got unlucky with our room, we got a bottom room with view onto the street. The walls are paper thin and can hear other guests showering and any cars going by but overall its quiet enough at night. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, spring mattresses. The initial walk-in to the room, we got hit by a strong, bad smell from the bathroom, possibly smelled like the sewers. Disgusting. Wouldn't recommend staying for longer than 3 nights with that smell. But other than that, the hotel was fine and we enjoyed our stay.

They say that they have air conditioning, but it’s not working properly. We have to open the doors to the balcony to get some fresh air. They were very late in cleaning the room.

A great stay at this very modern apartment complex 👍 Booked a 6 night break over the Xmas period at good price via Expedia. Flamingos salgados is in a quiet area in between the Albufeira Marina and Amerco de pera (Galé /Gui area) so a car is ideally required unless you want to use Uber or Taxis to get around. The beach isn't far from the complex but due to the road designs and lack of pathways it's around a 2.5k walk or drive to reach. This complex was only built in 2024/25 and to a high standard. We had a 1 bedroom apartment with fully fitted kitchen, microwave, kettle, toaster, 4 ring induction hob, oven, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine x2 (Espresso and filter drip) plus a good selection of plates, cups, glasses and cutlery. There is a large balcony accessed from living area and bedroom that gets the sun all day from around 11am to sunset. Reception spoke good English and where very welcoming plus they accommodated our early check in request. They also gave us a small sweet pastry present on Xmas day so this was appreciated. A couple of things to note. Underground parking is available at a charge (€5 I think), but free parking is available outside on street. You will need to bring your own washing up liquid , kitchen towels, Tea cloths, coffee pods to avoid the frustration others have noted on some reviews. The room was very clean and well equipped. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Staff were more than helpful and did their utmost to ensure a comfortable stay. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience.
