The private garden is equipped with a table, chairs, and benches among ancient stone walls. The apartment offers independent heating, private bathroom with shower, courtesy set, hairdryer, dishes, refrigerator, and microwave. Two small towels (40x60 cm) and two large towels (60x100 cm) are provided.



One pet is allowed. Events are not permitted. Free private parking. Guests have access to a large common room with billiards, darts, library, fireplace, and sofas.



To reach the property, you will drive about 1 km on a gravel road with a 150-meter uphill stretch, accessible to almost all vehicles (except very low supercars).



The property is near major cycling routes such as Strade Bianche, l'Eroica, Gran Fondo del Brunello, Gran Fondo della Val di Merse, and the Via Francigena trail, also ideal for trekking enthusiasts.



The name "Il Ritiro del Podestà" comes from the story of Pandolfo Petrucci, lord of Siena, who, after exile, chose these hills to build a fortified retreat, the Borgo dell'Olivello, which still retains an almost mythical aura today.
