We had a great stay at Miner’s Cabin. Comfortable, clean and cozy cabin had everything we needed to enjoy the Pictured Rocks area. Secluded but close to town and the National Lakeshore. Great stargazing too. We would stay here again if in the area.
We were really happy with the cabin. It was well appointed and had everything we needed and more. The secluded location was excellent, Pictured rocks and downtown Munising were within a convenient distance. We would definitely stay here again in the future, very nice place.
We loved our stay at the Miner’s cabin. Private location in the woods, but close enough to town for restaurants & activities. Super close to the park & Miner’s Castle. The house had everything we needed & more. We’d love to stay here again!
Very well equipped and well built. Quality amenities. Extremely quiet and peaceful location, yet very convenient to Pictured Rocks and Munising. A wonderful rental -- far better than most.
My husband and I stayed at this cabin for three nights while visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The convenience of being within literal minutes from some of the local attractions at the park can't be beat. And the woods surrounding the cabin are incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The cabin itself was perfect for us. There was plenty of room to stretch out after a long day of hiking, with a great kitchen for meal prep and laundry facilities for our dirty clothes. What a wonderful place to unwind!
The cabin is newer, still smells like new wood. It is absolutely adorable! The living room was exceptional. Couch was amazingly comfortable with super fun decor from the mining era. Kitchen had everything you needed. The coffee station was great, had the option for a cup or pot…we need two pots to get moving! Bathrooms were very clean. Bedrooms had decent beds, so we had really good nights of sleep. The fire pit was perfect, It had rained quite a bit before we came and it had standing water. I let the owners know and asked if anything could be done and they had someone come over and fix it so we could have fires during our stay. They were very accommodating. Our stay was so relaxing, I had a hard time going out rock hunting and that’s what I was there for!!! We will definitely stay again next year!!!
We knew this was a new rental but didn't realize it was practically *brand* new! We wanted a place for our family near Pictured Rocks and were blown away by this little home! It was perfect for our family of five, kids aged 9, 12, and 14. The home was beautiful, immaculate, well-designed, and stocked with just what we needed for our 4 day stay. It exceeded our expectations by far. The hosts were quick to respond and welcomed us earlier than expected. We would absolutely love to stay there again!
Cute, great location, just enough space. Nice that it’s newer, front and back porches are covered. Would be nice to have a little lamp for evening instead the overhead bright lights. Loved that it was so close to Miners Beach.
Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable place to stay. We bought wood for a fire, it had rained, and the water did not drain from the fire pit.

Space was attractive, lots of hooks for belongings which was so appreciated. Nice location, close to pictured rocks. This property is way back in the woods, but still… the mosquitoes were in full force. We killed about 40 inside our cabin during our stay. Not sure if previous people had propped the door open or what.
Cleanliness was so so- the fridge had to be wiped out before we unpacked, one toilet didn’t look particularly clean. There was a hair in the shower and could see soap bar reminants so clearly hadn’t been cleaned or at least not very well. Not a deal breaker though. One bed was only halfway made with just the fitted sheet and a comforter where all the others had the flat sheet too so wondered about the process between occupants.
