Rock House-Downtown Munising with Private Patio, Garage, Fire-pit & BBQ Grill

Centrally located two bedroom, two bathroom home located in downtown Munising. Close to Bayshore Park where the Pictured Rocks Cruises depart. Enjoy family time in the back, private patio and roast marshmallows over the portable firepit. This home includes a fully equipped kitchen, living room with cable TV and WiFi throughout the house. Linens and towels also provided. Those traveling with children can rest at ease knowing the house is also child friendly and includes a Pac-n-Play. Our home is also pet friendly!

Additional sleeping options inlcude two cots and an air mattress.

**PETS! Airbnb may only charge you for the 1st pet, you will be requested to send an additional $50 plus tax ($53) per pet. Our pet policy is $50/pet plus tax plus an additional one time cleaning charge of $30. If Airbnb does not collect this amount you are still responsible. We're respecting your pet, so please respect our pet policy. Clean up after your pet, please do not allow pets on furniture. Please keep kenneled if left alone. If your pet barks when you are gone, please do not leave it alone.

This is a very clean and well stocked rental. The location is perfect. They think of a lot extra little things that are handy when traveling. Exceptional and will be back.

Perfect location- cute house

We stayed in Munising for 3 nights and the house was perfect! Right downtown so you can walk to everything. House is clean and has everything you need including a small enclosed back area with table, chairs, a grill and a firepit. Loved our stay

Great Time

A great stay in Munising!

Our stay at the Rock House was nothing short of exceptional! The location was perfect to start our daily adventures from. I especially liked that we were able to park our vehicle in the garage and that the house came equipped with a pack n play so I didn’t have to pack my own! The house is clean, well maintained, and we will definitely be coming back!

Great home for a family vacation!

We had a great time staying here and were sad to have to leave. The house was perfect for our small family. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make meals, the fenced in back yard was great for our toddler to play safely, and the location was within walking distance of so many places. Loved being right behind Tacopotamus (which we visited twice) and a short walk to Falling Rock Cafe where our toddler could play while we hung out. Already planning our next trip back and would totally stay here again!

Great location!

Enjoyed our stay with our family of 4. Plenty of space for everyone and having a second bathroom/shower was great. The location was perfect for walking around in the evening after a day of activities. Enjoyed take out pizza from Pictured Rocks Pizza on the back patio one night and tried out the beer at By George’s Brewery another night- both about an 2 minute walk from the house! Everything was as advertised in the listing. Would stay again if we are back in the area.

Great home

This home was very nice. Those was very clean and organized….. decorated for the area…. Lake home. Although we were only there for 2 days…. The home had games, bicycles, etc. overall very comfortable!

Great cozy home

Home is cozy & felt very comfortable- Went to visit my daughter & her family who live 4 blocks from the rental. Home is older but clean & well-kept. Within walking distance of many stores, shops, and boat rides/ dock. Could use a second TV and second blow-dryer:) Back yard is enclosed and private. Would recommend this home and would stay here again:)

The Perfect Getaway

Everything is walking distance. Less than a five minute walk to boat tours, the bay side park, restaurants, gift stores, etc. Less than a 20 minute drive to Miner's beach, Chapel Rock, and a lot of other neat spots to see at Pictured Rock National Lakeshore. The kitchen is stocked enough to make your own breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overall, we loved out convenient and clean this place was.

The laundry space in the basement was also fully supplied. The house had lots of information about things to do in the area. There was a great deck and patio space in the back with a gas grill and fire pit and a lovely front porch where we could see the harbor. We appreciated the garage as we had to pack up in the rain. My husband also enjoyed taking a spin on one of the 4 bikes provided. Everything was very well labeled and maintained. We could walk to restaurants and shops, and to harbor cruises. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly to others.

We felt very safe and were able to lock our car in the garage. The house was very clean and well stocked. We had some cooler days and warmer days and were able to stay comfortable throughout our stay. The house probably wouldn't be great for very tall people since the stairs and upstairs aren't that high. My husband is 5'10" and he banged his head the first time up the stairs but learned to duck after that. We had trouble getting into the house at first but that was just because we didn't understand how the lock worked. We called for help and someone came right away to show us. It was a great place to stay!
