"Everything was great. The cabin is extremely well stocked. Lots of supplies to meet all your needs. The view was beautiful. It was very quiet and peaceful. We saw a bunch of wild turkeys and a deer right in front of the cabin. We will definitely go back. Great communication with the host."

"Paws in the Pines is a very cozy and comforting space. It's clear that Jody and Dwight were very thoughtful in deciding how to set up the cabin; everything about the space feels intentional, from the layout to the decor to the helpful (and sometimes funny) labels. Some of the storage solutions appear to have been custom built for the space. All in all, it feels like a lot of love and care have gone into making Paws in the Pines feel joyful, welcoming, and functional. Jody also sent me a good amount of information prior to my arrival, including a cabin manual, which I found very helpful.The space is also well set up for anyone who wants to bring their pooch(es) with them. There is enough empty floor space to accommodate multiple dogs and their paraphernalia, and the outdoor spaces are all fitted with fences and gates, so pups and humans can enjoy being outside together.I also really appreciated that there were multiple options for heating the cabin. The radiator that is connected to the wall-mounted temperature control panel was fairly loud, and I am very sensitive to sound, so I ended up relying a bit more on the portable ceramic space heater and the two wall-mounted radiators in the bathroom and bedroom. There is also a wood-burning stove, although I didn't end up using it. I was plenty warm in the cabin, even though I visited in February.A very comfortable space for a retreat, along with many animal friends to keep you company; my favorites were Walker and Wilbur. :)"

"The host was very accommodating and responded very quickly to any questions both prior to booking and during our stay. During our stay we were looking for sleds and after looking around the property and being unable to find them, I messaged the host and Robin replied within minutes and even offered to bring some over if I couldn’t find them. This cabin had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. Kids loved the hot tub and the Robin Hood theme. After watching Robin Hood one night they started to notice decorations from movie and had fun finding them. Wish our schedule allowed us to stay more than 2 nights. "

"Very clean and comfortable. The WiFi was alright, but the TV couldn’t handle too many devices on at a time so it would buffer. We really enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable "
