We also loved that there is a lounge, a rooftop bar, and the hotel is conveniently located. Just be aware that the rooms are smaller than usual and there are no refrigerators in the rooms. But this is our new favorite place to stay in Hood River!"

"Great property with stellar views next to an iconic hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and parking was easy. No elevator so keep that in mind! Easy access to neighboring hotels and downtown. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. I felt the rate was reasonable. We usually stay on the other side of Hood River so this was a fun change. We’ll be back! "

"Room was very reasonably priced and clean. We have stayed here twice and we love the buildings location and old charm! That being said, my only real complaint is that they need some type of air conditioning…it is listed on their website but that is not true at all. We have visited in October and April, both cooler months at night, but even with the cooler night temperatures, the rooms were terribly hot. The first room we stayed in the window wouldn’t open at all. The second room the windows did open but no screens and bugs were flying in…they do provide fans but I guess I just prefer to sleep a little cooler. "

"I asked for, and got, only one queen-sized bed. So, the room was HUGE! Everything was super clean. The wall-mounted air conditioner/heater was quiet and effective, and the bed was comfortable. I had a very good night's sleep. The toilet backed up once and the manager was very responsive, coming to my room with a plunger just minutes after I called him."

"Great check in at front desk who helped me check in an hour early. Clean, modern and spacious room. Easy walk to trails and into the city. Nice complementary breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel."
