"I gave them an EXCELLENT RATING as I like the hotel and the employees HOWEVER the Manager agreed to let me out of my reservation for 2/28 for one night as my business travel changed and I am not flying out of Philadelphia. She agreed and when I called Choice rewards she told them no. She then hid from my calls over multiple days so I had to dispute the charge on credit card. Again I like the hotel and have stayed MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS but this was unprofessional by the Manager but I STILL GAV THEM AN EXCELLENT RATING ANYWAY! "

"The history & energy of the staff. The bedrooms were large and the bathrooms nicely equipped. The decor could be updated from the 1980s. Our love seat cushion was backwards- when I flipped it to fix it, it was ripped. Besides some updating, we enjoyed our space & the barn common space was fabulous! We enjoyed playing games by the fire. We also enjoyed Sunday Brunch -- our server LT, was lovely. "

"Great newer hotel in The Brandywine Valley! Stayed for a quick overnight getaway and loved the contactless checkin/out, the amenities, and the custom artwork on the walls of the room. Every room was designed by a different artist! Only ding is that the HVAC system as pretty loud, but it didn’t dim the stay. We’d return here in a heartbeat and definitely will recommend Artelo!"
