Communication with owners was very good and the pool was kept clean by Claude who visited often to check everything was OK. Nous avons été "chez nous" pendant 5 jours et avons profité, pleinement, de la belle demeure et de cette belle région !! Ah, j'ai oublié ; le fromage et le miel produits par le propriétaire, étaient juste délicieux !! Sans oublier les oeufs de ferme que avons pu nous procurer chez la voisine... "The house has been renovated nicely and has most things that you need, except wifi! There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"Nadine and Guy were the perfect hosts and the house was in a wonderful location. We were all made to feel very welcome. The cottage was comfortable and clean. If you enjoy being away from the WIFI then this is the place for you. Lovely rural area. "Just wow. Firstly the photos didnt show just how big it acually is, we were blown away. We had an wonderful week staying at this beautiful house with our 2 boys, 8 and 10, and our sausage dog too. The area is so peaceful, the views were gorgeous. The property is secure so our children and pup were free to roam around whilst we relaxed. The pool was great with steps to get in and bigger than expected too. The children loved it. Isabelle who we met when we arrived was so lovely and very helpful...

"I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."
