Villa La Maria: Experience the Best of the French Countryside

Villa La Maria is a tastefully renovated holiday home located in a small village in the Creuse. The house accommodates 4 guests year-round, and from mid-April to mid-October, a fifth guest can be welcomed for an extra fee, payable on site. The property has two floors and a front garden. On the ground floor (36 m²), you will find a living room with a wood stove that heats the entire house, an open kitchen, a shower, and a toilet. Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms (18 and 15 m²): one with a double bed (1.80 x 2 m), the other with two single beds (0.90 x 2 m). In the garden, a third bedroom (10 m²) with a 1.40 x 2 m bed is available only during the warmer months.



A covered veranda (2.5 x 7 m) with a picnic table runs the width of the house. The enclosed garden (about 200 m²) is bordered by a stone wall and a hedge. In the second part of the garden, you will find a wooden above-ground pool (4.10 m diameter) and a gas barbecue. You can use a trampoline and pingpong table as well.



The village has 25 friendly residents, always happy to chat. The garden sits at the heart of the village, perfect for experiencing authentic country life. The hamlet is peaceful, with very little traffic.



The Creuse river is 4 km away, ideal for swimming, fishing, and picnics. Dogs are welcome and can swim as well in the river. The house is suitable for 4 to 5 guests (max 4 in winter). For the fifth person, an additional fee applies.



The region is perfect for hiking or mountain biking. If you come to fish, a permit for Lake Felinas is included.



To explore the area, you can rent two electric bikes, subject to availability and for an extra fee. TV is accessible via Chromecast to stream your own channels from your device.



Bed linen and towels are included. Firewood for winter heating is available for an extra fee.
