The room was clean. The staff was helpful, polite and thoughtful. I saw the maids on their hands and knees cleaning a room thoroughly. There were no bugs or anything gross. That being said, the property could use some investment however for the price, it can't be beat. My 6 yr old child was very happy. Also, try the Lee's famous chicken. Don't sleep in their sweet tea.

Overall our stay was good. The guests above and beside were very loud late on Friday night but not the hotel’s fault. Older hotel in nice condition. Bed was clean and comfortable but the pillows could have been thicker, more full. A/C was great, water pressure exceptional. Tub was a tad slick on bottom. Convenient location and decent value.would stay again.

Rooms were clean and comfortable, Housekeeping staff were effiecent and quiet; no yelling down the hall to each other. The area that was a disappointment was the continental breakfast; it was pretty much standard. I only tried it the last day and I must say that the biscuits were hard as a brick. The gravy looked like sausage gravy but tasted like it was made with turkey sausage. A definite shock to the taste buds. Then, there were the unsupervised children who were using their hands to take food from the serving pans. If their parents aren't there to control them, then the hotel should have someone there to attend them.

It was an okay place. Staff was friendly and it was basically clean. Issues were: the elevator was out of order the 3 days we were there and the side entry door which was suppose to be locked with room card access was never locked which is a security issue for me.

We only stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early. As mentioned in other reviews, the side doors to the parking lot are not locked so that's a security issue. Hotel smelled musty. The carpet next to the air conditioner in our room was damp. Bed was comfortable. I don't think I would return to this hotel if I got a chance.

There was a slight odor of marijuana all on the 2nd floor -which was a little disappointing-but we ran the fan continuously and that took care of it for the most part. Wonder why the pool couldn’t be open a little earlier in the morning? Breakfast was great! Quiet room! Beautiful setting, easy access from interstate.
