"This property is neat, tidy and well presented. Unfortunately it is within 40 metres of the main highway and the trucks kept noisily passing by all night long. Also we paid to have 2 small dogs with us but Leslie the host instructed us to keep these dogs on a leash and 'under control' whenever outside the rented house as her own 3 cats were 'outside cats that don't like dogs' and they liked to roam the property. I had initially asked if she keep her cats on her property. She reiterated that I was to leash the dogs when they were outside. Disappointing."

"Lovely historic property, nice clean room, very comfortable bed. Overall a very warm and nice feeling about the stay. Staff is amazing and so caring. Very much recommended.
Location is great, parking is easy. Can't wait to return."

"We had aman amazing two night stay in the Cass suite. The room was very spacious and clean with a impressive amd comfortable bed (had the best nights sleep). We relaxed in the hot tub every chance we could get.
We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant on the first night and found the reading area to chill in afterwards. All staff were incredibly helpful and made our stay a fantastic one.
The hotel is a very short drive from Hanmer Springs so was ideal for what we needed. We would stay again next time we are in the area and would highly recommend."
