The hotel offers a truly memorable stay, blending comfort with a distinct sense of character that sets it apart from standard accommodations. From the moment of arrival, the atmosphere feels warm and thoughtfully designed, with staff who are attentive without being overwhelming.

I was very excited to stay at one of Santa Monica’s most famous hotels, but unfortunately, that excitement disappeared as soon as we arrived. We were only informed upon arrival that large parts of the hotel were temporarily inaccessible because filming was taking place. We were also told that the main restaurant would be closed for three days. These restrictions significantly affected our stay, and we were extremely disappointed that we had not been notified in advance. The atmosphere around the swimming pool was also unwelcoming. We felt uncomfortable while our six-year-old son was playing, even though he was behaving as a child normally would. Some guests were particularly rude, which made the experience even less enjoyable. On a positive note, the balcony was beautiful. Sitting there and enjoying the view with a bottle of wine was one of the highlights of our stay. Given the hotel’s reputation and the price we paid, we expected much better communication and a more welcoming experience for families.
