Enjoyable stay in Mount Gambier
We have stayed here before in the Wisteria suite and it has been renovated - new bathroom and kitchen. The only problem we had was the step from the bathroom /back door area into the kitchen. The geometric tile pattern is deceptive and we both nearly had falls. The step needs a bright strip across it so it is visible; it is an accident waiting to happen. Also I think the bathroom would be freezing in the winter; maybe a heater light should be installed. Despite this we will stay here again.

Beautiful cottage with good heating and set up with everything you need for a short or longer stay. Great communication to enter the property. Maybe a look at the pressure in the shower would be helpful but would definitely stay there again.

Quiet street but right in the city centre - a five minute walk. Nice old house but decor a bit old and tired and some basic items missing in kitchen eg bottle opener/can opener. Some milk in the fridge to make a cup of tea after a long drive would be nice too

Wyatt Guest House in Mt Gambier
I stayed in the property for one night and really enjoyed it. Cleanliness, comfort and quiet location off the main streets are one of the most appealing factors for me. Families might like as well the number of beds.

The place was ok. A bit more effort could be put into the cleaning.Its hard when you have 6 people staying and only has 3 chairs.Also you can see into the bathroom from the main bedroom via a window which I thought would be easy to black out.

The property is in terrible condition with ants and snails crawling in the kitchen area. No ventilation what so ever, had to check out a day prior.

Have stayed here before, federation suite is fabulous, wasn’t available this time so ended up In wisteria suite. Wouldn’t stay in this one again, quite rundown and not very clean (compared to federation, lots of stains on the carpet). Would stay again. Great facilities, but only if in the federation suite, the rest needs a revamp!

Great value property in an excellent location. Comfy beds with electric blankets, our two children loved the little bunk room. Communication with property management was excellent, will definitely stay again if down that way. Thanks!

This property was nice and spacious, 2 separate bedrooms, lounge and kitchen. The location is quiet and central to the town. Disliked that it was very dirty, mold in the bathroom, kitchen was covered in splatters, all the rooms were dusty and had cobwebs hangers from the ceilings. Furnishings are very tired

The old world charm was nice. The high ceilings, spa bath, courtyard, laundry, washing line, spacious living space and A/C came in very hand on a super hot day. Central location and easy to find.

For price and location, this place was great. It had everything we needed for our short stay, including lots of clean towels. We were in the Wisteria suite and our daughter loved the bunk-bed in the little bunk room. The aircon worked great, there were plenty of dishes/cookware in the kitchen and the bathroom has a great spa bath. I read some bad reviews about this place before booking, but honestly it was fine! I’m glad I booked it and we would stay again.

The location is VERY quiet for road traffic noise. However you can hear everything from the other unit (talking, breakfast being prepared etc) as the walls that have been built to separate the units is very thin.

Quite comfortable and easy walk to the centre of Mt Gambier. The kitchen was rather small so can understand the fridge being small but we really would have preferred to have and needed to have a larger fridge to cater for our needs.

The sun room is a lovely surprise! I booked the property bcoz the photo of the master had a fierce glowing heater but it didn't work, really disappointing! But the rest of the property is spacious great for a private romantic couples retreat! There is also ample room for 4 extra ppl if required? There's a private outdoor BBQ area x2 toilets compact efficient kitchen! Walking distance to a few fast food outlets! Good value, friendly helpful staff!! Will return

The rooms were fine for a couple but if there were more it might be a bit different. There is a window from the bedroom into the bathroom and another into the back entry hall. At the least, I think these could be frosted. Otherwise it's fine, great internet. Also cleaning products being available would have made it better. We were there for 5 days and really wanted some disinfectant etc just to run over the bathroom and toilet.

Wifi was a bonus. Property very clean and comfortable. Quirky older style 3 apartment converted house. Good location for proximity to centre of town, can walk to pubs, cafe's etc. Lacking information about the town, so necessitated a trip to the tourist info shop. We stayed in the Federation suite and the shower overflows across the floor, needs remedy. A new shower head with flexible hose would be very welcome! Easy and cheap to buy from Bunnings for this fixture, no plumbing required! Quiet and off street parking was welcome.
