What a wonderful hotel in a great location. Our room was huge and beautifully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay there. Highly recommend this hotel. Keep up the great work!!!

Overall the property was clean and neat. The dishes needed a good was not a simple wipe out. But I booked for the restaurant for dinner, the cooked breakfast to room and room service non of which were available due to being closed over the new year period. So this should have been advised or allowed me to cancel with refund.

A budget motel
We book this motel because the preferred accommodation wasn't available for both nights at Mount Gambier. This one is a budget motel on the main road - good enough for road trip stop-over - you want to spend as little time in the room as possible

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and the bed was ridiculously comfortable. Motel was close to town. Meals were tasty, generous and well priced.

Mediocre at best.
Greeting at reception was very nice and the room was initially very clean. I had two issues with my stay; 1. the room wasn't cleaned by housekeeping the next morning with the bed not made, nor was the bathroom surfaces (vanity and basin) wiped. I simply had new towels added. 2. The loud screaming noise (like a smoke detector) that the plumbing made when the neighbor had a shower late at night. It was so loud I went to reception worried about an alarm going off :) and they came to investigate it and heard it also.

Toilet seat was off in first room. Moved to another room. Kettle fused the power. Got another it didn’t work. Third kettle was ok. Washer dryer was hard to use. Dinner from room service went cold while dealing with unworking dryer. Was not offered any discount for all the inconvenience. Won’t be staying there again. Would benefit from better signage in laundry on how to use washer dryer. Also a sign telling guests to remove their clothes promptly from the dryers so others can use it. What’s the protocol on taking someone else’s stuff out if it’s finished drying.

This was a large motel and did have a lift. We had a king bed and a room that was semi large. Despite the bathroom looking ‘renovated’ the towel rail fell out of the wall, the tap couldn’t be fully opened as the mirror was too low. The toiletries consisted of a push action gel to be used for hand washing, shampoo and showering, towels were threadbare which required an extra one, the place looked very tired. It was not central and the restaurant did not function. I’d try the Gambier Hotel in future.

Lovely large room and great to have mugs for tea/coffee! Bed was very comfy. Our heater wasn’t working but staff very quickly offered us another room or a heater. If I had to pick something negative I’d say it’s nearly time for new towels. We’d stay here again 😄

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Huge bathroom. King bed was great. There was a breakfast option, but we went elsewhere. Everything is close by, including a woolworths. Coffee and dinner was very close by. Highly recommend Gourmet Indian restaurant.

The on site dining was excellent. Staff were also very good. Room was huge and very clean. Only downfall was the flooding in the bathroom. The shower drain couldnt cope with rain shower, so it flowed to drain in middle of the bathroom. A bathmat levee did the trick.

Lovely friendly staff on arrival. Location fine and easy parking. Very comfortable beds. Unfortunately the toilet cistern ran non stop (in fairness we didn’t complain and when the door was closed couldn’t hear it) and the shower ran from freezing to scalding hot so that wasn’t great..

Dreadful! The pics on website don’t portray the real property! The shower leaked, there was mould on the curtains and noise from visitors in room above ours was loud! We were woken at 4am with visitors slamming doors and chatting in car park. Restaurant wasn’t open - no mention of that when booking and no one at reception early in morning. Cannot recommend!

Big complex but no room service, no wine glasses in the room and very spartan. Quite noisy in the morning from surrounding businesses. Expensive for what was provided.

The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were quiet and warm. There was also a lot of space, which meant using the room was also easy. The streaming to TV was fantastic.

Bathroom was dirty and found a smelly towel wrapped around leaking pipes under the sink in the bathroom. Liquid soap container in shower was nearly empty

Nice place to rest
Nice place could use some refurbishment, being school holidays noisy kids after 10:30 pm was annoying. Nice food in the restaurant, like most motels at the moment, dead atmosphere.
