Never in my life have I stayed in accommodation as filthy as this place! The shower was filthy with thick white smears all over the glass and mold along the tracks and in the drain. There was long black hair all through the bathroom and there was fecal matter on the wall next to the toilet. We didn’t notice this until we returned after midnight from the even we were attending with the hopes of having a shower before bed but after seeing the state of the bathroom I couldn’t bring myself to use it. We had housekeeping knock on the door at 9am when we were checking out at 10am. The bedside lamps didn’t work above either bed, there was no toilet brush nor any washing up liquid to wash out mugs before we could use them again which begs the question how many people use them and just rinse and dry them and put them back in the cupboard? When I checked out and spoke to ‘the manager’ he refused to acknowledge there was a problem with the room even after we went back with him and showed him. His attitude was disgusting! Don’t book here, spend your money at a place where they actually care about your stay and aren’t going to be shut down by the health department in the near future!

Amenities were great. Beds very comfy. Beautiful bathroom. Room was spacious and welcoming. Close to town for shopping and sightseeing. Only thing is walls felt very thin. We could hear the neighbours tv.

The room matched the pictures and was lovely. The Smart TV's in the main bedroom and second bedroom where of great use and very much appreciated. The shower was pretty lackluster and changed temperature on it's own frequently, and had very little pressure. Didn't talk to the concierge much because he wasn't all that friendly or welcoming when we arrived. Didn't bother going across to the restaurant due to this initial interaction, so can't comment on the food. It should be noted there is no pool onsite, despite conflicting reports online. Overall a nice play to stay on the way to somewhere else, but I wouldn't consider this your ultimate destination or home base for a long stay.

The front desk guy was very pleasant. The room was huge, modern and clean. A couple of major issues though. The tv is in the lounge area and not watchable from bed, whilst on holidays who is watching tv on the couch? So it needs a tv for the bedroom also. And the pillows were like sleeping on logs. The hardest pillows ever.

Excellent value compared with other properties we’ve stayed at in Mt Gambier at the same price point. Modern rooms and bathrooms. Didn’t get a chance to dine there but the menu looked great

I love staying here as the rooms are newly renovated. You can tell it’s under new ownership. No staff on Sunday to do room service and found food under the lounge. The towels are a white grey colour.

We stayed in a family room and it was perfect for our purposes. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with two double beds and a single. The beds were super comfortable and a clean and modern bathroom. The staff were very accommodating. This was way better than I expected for such a reasonable price and will definitely stay there again.

We were travelling for work with a young baby and the staff were considerate and moved us to a room that was further away from the road without us asking. They also didn't hesitate to help when we realised we'd forgot toothpaste and happily accommodated us. The meals offered in the restaurant were also fantastic! They were much better than I expected for a motel restaurant and very good value for money. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Mt Gambier! Highly recommend

I was in a room down the very back of the property and had some issues getting wifi. I rang the front desk and asked if it was possible to move to a room with better internet access, I was advised that I could but I would be charged for two rooms for the night instead of 1! I had literally been in the room 20 minutes. Rooms also not as pictured or anywhere near it. Really disappointing experience, I have never wrote a online review before so this experience must have been bad..

Well this was a surprise!! The hotel has just been renovated and what delight. Large comfortable rooms, huge TV and bed and pillows , so restful. Even though we were on the highway, the hotel is set back and you don’t hear a thing. Definitely stay here again.

Beautiful rooms - looks recently renovated, loved the large shower & the big bath & tv in the bath was a hit with my 6yr old. Loved the text with a free desert or snack with any meal. would have been nice to opt for a firm bed & lounge (as ours was way to soft an very unsupportive for our backs. All in all it was very nice room would stay again
