However, there was one hiccup (which would’ve been worse had it happened to a younger child): There was no way to heat the small bedroom with a twin bed. Luckily one of us had brought along a heating pad so everyone slept well, but if it were a small child I worry those temperatures could be dangerous. Granted, it’s not even spring yet, so other times of the year this would be a non issue."

"Cozy stay! Loved the firepit and deck area. Bathroom pleasant. We had a great weekend- this was so much more fun than staying at a hotel! Thoughtful host, very quick to respond! We didnt even use the heater although it was cold, we didnt mind at all. Adds to the fun! We both slept like babies, as did our dog. They provided warm blankets including a great doggie blanket. Even provided dog treats and bowls and towels. We never met the host which just added to the privacy factor. Thank you Joshua!"
