The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it's close to walk and get a better view down the lake or up towards the mountains where sections of LoTR was filmed. "Nice place but charge for every little thing. $10 to rent a kitchen package (plates, pots etc.). How bout $$10 refundable deposit. ( A surprise for travelers blowing through…. Where every other stop all was provided). Cabin was nice but no towels. Showers were $1 increasing to $2. Won’t come back here. "
