Beautiful pond

Wakonda Pond is a wonderful place for people who like nature. It's at the foot of Red Hill and you can see all sorts of wildlife -- including many different species of birds, frogs, turtles, and the resident loons. The house has a lovely deck. We enjoyed the pond (bring water shoes for kayaking/swimming as there is not a sandy beach area). It's also close to the shopping and restaurants at Center Harbor.

Exceptional property...lake, view, amenities, local area...what more could you ask?

Loved the size of the house and the wonderful views of the lake from the living room, kitchen and sunroom/office. Too cool and windy to kayak but that would have been nice, too. Well stocked cabinets and bath items. Only problem was not the house. I am 85 with no accessories needed but would have liked actual railings on the granite stepped entryway along with the decorative birch tree rails.

Perfect getaway with all the comforts of home.

We loved our relaxing stay at the Blue Door cottage. Rustic charm, beautiful views, many activities close by. Loved all the modern conveniences including whirlpool tub, adjustable bed, gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and Roku tv. We spent many hour enjoying nature in the wooden rockers on the deck.I’m sure this property is really fun in the summer with swimming and kayaking on the pond. Our only negative is we wish there was a railing on the front steps. Otherwise accessability was great! The You are Lovred theme was very special.❤️

Beautiful and secluded. I came here on a business trip and it was perfect. I lost the power one night, and the host reponded quickly. I only lost it for about 2 hours. I would recommend this house!

Location was awesome right on the pond. Wished I had remembered to bring the kayak. House was perfect for what we were looking for. Only request I would have is another light in the main bedroom. But other than that, everything else was perfect..

Wonderful water views and location

This private home on the water fit our needs perfectly. Property is very close to town (Center Harbor) and 25 minutes from Meadowbrook (Bank of NH Pavilion) which was the reason for our stay. The home was clean and the beds are comfortable. The updated deck is wonderful. Gorgeous water views!

Not exactly as advertised. Yes there is a fireplace but you can NOT use it! You can not use the garage or items in it either even though the photos make it look like you can. Appliances were broken or missing. Deck is nice but not safe for small children. View is nice but house is fairly close to the road and traffic gets noisy. Pulling out of the driveway is difficult and dangerous. There are no warnings about bears... and there are bears! The property is managed by a large corporation (VACASA) so you will not get common courtesy start up items or any special attention that you get from a typical VRBO host. I accidentally left a nice kitchen item that I had to borrow from family and was completely ignored by the rental manager when I tried to make arrangements to retrieve it. If you stay here bring your own coffee maker, toaster, kettle and clothes hangers and make sure you don't accidentally leave without them. Also there are several RING cameras here, one is basically hidden, so if you're not comfortable with that then you might not want to stay here. Aside from all this the house is comfortable and clean.
