"What a beautiful place to stay! I've been away from home for years, but growing up, this place was practically in my backyard. My wife and I came back home to get married, and we were lucky enough to find this little gem to spend our wedding night. I honestly couldn't have imagined a more perfect spot for such a special occasion.The property was peaceful, spotless, and surrounded by beautiful views. The hosts were amazing, always quick to communicate and incredibly accommodating. We loved it so much that we decided to stay an extra night, and they made that happen without any trouble.This place made an already special weekend even more memorable. Whenever I come back home to visit family, I know exactly where I'll be staying. It's the perfect place to unwind, enjoy the peace and quiet, and take in the beautiful scenery. We can't wait to come back!"

"So I was skeptical about a drive up motel but was willing to give it a try. I opened the door and “Wow” came out of my mouth. This was the cleanest, nicest, biggest and most well set up motel I have ever seen. I usually don’t give any place higher than an 8, because there is always something that could be better, right? Wrong. These folks have it going on! Even the coffee was good. My only request would be liquid creamer."

"Such a cute little cabin! My boyfriend and I enjoyed making smores at the fire pit. My only complaint was the factory across the street being a bit loud when you’re sitting outside but this place still deserves 5 stars! Hoping it’s available again for the Mothman festival next year"

"The house is absolutely beautiful. Love the historic features. Right on the Ohio River. Gorgeous views. The ONLY thing I was surprised by, was the office that advertises 2 twin beds, did not have beds in it when we arrived. However, we did discover that the futon chair turned into a twin bed, and then there was a roll away bed in the main closet downstairs with a VERY comfortable mattress. Which made for the 2 beds that were advertised. Would stay again!!"

Affordable Cozy Cedar Cabin Overlooking the River

"The cabin was absolutely adorable and very well appointed! We got this as a "stopover" for our trip and we were very pleasantly surprised. It was completely rustic, made out of a storage shed, but COMPLETELY redone on the inside, with lights, outlets, plumbing, electricity, and climate control! The TV was also awesome - a flatscreen on a swivel, with all of the streaming channels. There was sleeping room for six - one queen, two twin bunks, and a double loft. Lastly, there was a deck with seating that overlooked a beautiful view!!"
