We had a twin room and one of the beds was hard and felt like an old budget mattress whilst the other bed had a comfy spring mattress. Good selection of tea and coffee. Check-in times were quite restrictive and made us plan our day around a set check-in time. It's very close to the centre and within easy walking distance. The room was hot at night but the fan somewhat helped. Overall a pleasant stay for a budget room."

"We had a great short break at The Cottage. It has everything you could need, kitchen very well equipped, comfortable bed and thoughtful touches such as the automatic nightlights. The location is very peaceful. We were very lucky on our arrival day that the weather was amazing and we had a lovely time sitting in the pretty, tranquil garden watching birds and butterflies and then listening to an owl once it went dark. Definitely coming back!"
