- Detached cottage, in the peaceful village of Mortagne Sur Gironde with private heated pool including approved security pool alarm. Large fully enclosed garden with a superb built-in barbecue and terrace perfect for dining alfresco overlooking the fields and vineyards. In Mortagne there is a supermarket, bakers, butchers, pharmacy, bank, bar/tabac and tourist information. The port is a 10-15 min walk and has a number of restaurants which overlook the marina. The beaches of Meschers are only 15 mins away. Europe's largest zoo in La Palmyre, Aquarium in La Rochelle and an indoor pool complex in Jonzac and popular golf course further along the coast as well as other beaches with watersports. Superb area for walking and cycling with routes mapped out and the majority off road through the fields and vineyards.
