"I have stayed in this hotel 6 or 7 times. Overall I have had good experiences. This last time, at check out the young lady with blond-colored hair was a bit rude, for no apparent reason. Not sure why. I assume she was having a bad day. I asked for her name, but she refused to provide it to me. This might be an opportunity for additional customer service training. While I won't rule out staying here again on my regular trips to Raleigh, I will now consider staying at other hotels in the area, rather than using this one as my default, even if they are slightly more expensive."

"The doors to Building 2020 were broken during my stay, and maintenance had the exterior door propped open. The doors leading into the hallway were also open, allowing non-guests to come and go freely in an area that already felt unsafe. Later that evening, I called the front desk because I was concerned about the safety of myself and my children. We even placed a chair against our door for extra security. Unfortunately, I felt rushed off the phone, and we spent the entire night worried about our safety. The next morning, my daughter and I went to the front desk because we were unsure how we would get back into the building. The door had been closed, but the key-entry system was still not working. The front desk manager seemed confused about which building we were referring to and simply handed us a map rather than addressing the issue. To add insult to injury, after I finally got back inside, an employee stopped me in the hallway and asked me to verify which room I was staying in. While I understand the need for security, the interaction was handled in a very unprofessional manner. I paid for a suite but was treated as though I was staying at a poorly managed property. Guest safety should be a top priority. If a lock or key-entry system is broken, management should take immediate action to repair it so guests can feel safe and secure during their stay."
