The apartment was spacious and spotless, with a comfortable bed and nicely equipped kitchen. The hotel is further from Hamilton than I had expected, but the little town of Morrinsville had plenty of restaurants and grocery stores.

If you like cows, Morrinsville is a small country town with an amazing self-guided walk where you can discover 46 life-sized, brightly painted cows. The cows are dotted through the township and each one is uniquely painted. Definitely a must to see.
