Location was great - you are so central and close to attractions, restaurant and bars. Despite this it was not noisy. Prior to arrival , we messaged the hotel to confirm transport options from the station but no one replied . The hotel is tired and needs more than a basic uplift . The aircon was not working in the entire building and fence it was very stuffy and humid. We did not use any amenities as the pool is not heated and outside . Rooms were cleaned daily and linen fresh so for the price paid and location - it was as expected.

We got put in a room way in the back. Very dark to access at night. Also the room was much smaller and in worse condition than the he pictures with paint peeling off the walls. It was also incredibly dusty and irritating to my sinuses.

Quiet, nice room, great location, cheerful and helpful staff and free umbrella use

We stayed 3 nights in Ghent and really enjoyed the city and the stay at the hotel. I don't know if it was the level of room we booked or if the level of service was the same for all but if you skipped having your room serviced they would leave coupons for free beer or wine in the hotel bar. Thought that was a great idea. We also were not expecting the turndown service but each night when we got back to the room, slippers were laid out, bed was turned down, there was a bottle of water and a glass on each night stand and chocolates on the bed. The hotel is really nice as was all the staff and the location is perfect. Our expectations were exceeded and this is most definitely the hotel I will book next time we get to Ghent.

The location is close to tourist sites but far enough to be quiet. As a first time visitor, I found the staff very helpful in locating trams and restaurants. There is an on site restaurant and breakfast available. I also appreciated the kitchenette !
