"The kaiseki meals u still dream of! It was amazing. The place was impeccably clean, and everyone that worked there were incredibly sweet! Worth every penny to eat such beautiful food and relax with my love. "

"The staff were very friendly and attentive! The ryokan was beautiful in the snow. In the best possible way, we had a great time laughing with the staff over my stilted Japanese. The lady who showed us our room went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We had a lovely time at Shikitei, and I hope we return!"

"The staff were incredibly accommodating (to be fair everyone in Morioka was exceptionally hospitable). The hotel was awesome, onsen was amazing and the food absolutely delicious (both dinner and breakfast). "
