Cozy, clean, and comfortable! Super peaceful and quiet and only 15 minutes from downtown blue ridge and just minutes away from lake nottely. My husband and I along with our dog were extremely comfortable here and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.
This cabin has EVERYTHING you need!! My boyfriend enjoyed building a fire and we used the s'mores stuff that Justin left for us! It was a perfect weekend!
Our stay was great!!! We had an awesome time cooking, watching movies, reading, walking, and having a good time at the house!
***pro tip: if there are only of y’all coming, they will only make two of the beds, so make sure to talk them which beds you want made or if you want all of them.
Nice little cabin, clean and well-appointed. Loft is barely accessible for a rather out-shape middle ager, but I didn't need to use it. Driveway entry is a little rutted, so be careful not to scrape anything going in if you're in a low sedan type car. Creek is nice, and a lakeside trail about a mile down the highway. Highly recommended.
Such a great little cabin. All the necessities were taken care of. Being able to bring our pup was icing on the cake! We enjoyed the fire pit, just cool enough to build a small fire in the evenings. The space is well planned and worked great for the two of us. We didn’t use the loft. The front porch and rockers were perfect for morning coffee. I will recommend this place to friends that go to the Blue Ridge area.
The cabin was clean and adorable. However, the difficulty we had was that because it was summer and heat rises, the loft was unbearably hot, even when we tried to crank down the AC. There is a heater up there for winter, so I think the cabin would be great that time of the year, but beware of the summer.
The cabin sits on approximately 3 acres of land and during my search for our vacation spot, that, and the fact that there is a trail that leads to a beautiful little creek, was a big selling point. I'm a biologist that enjoys observing a variety of plants and animals, which we saw lots. The cabin was just the right size for my wife and I. The hosts provided a notebook with instructions for accessing the wifi and TV that was very helpful. But we never turned even turned the TV on because we like to "unplug" on our vacations. We spent a lot of our time sitting in comfortable rocking chairs on the porch and relaxing. We will certainly consider a return trip for our next trip to north Georgia.

Private
It was cute. The cabin was nice if you have a couple kids in the loft or single friends to put upstairs. I guess my big thing was that I felt a little misled from the advertising. I thought I was going to be completely private in the woods but there was neighbors on both sides. Also the hiking trail is not really a hiking trail. It’s just a 1 minute path to a creek. Also for the amount we pay for cleaning it was extremely dirty. The windows hadn’t been touched and it was just not nice.
The trip in was extremely tough. It was raining and the fog was like London or something. When you make your final sets of turns, the road gets narrower and escalates pretty steep in some spots. Like the last road to turn into the driveway. With the fog, I missed the turn and went to far up the hill. With fog and rain, it wasn’t a treat finding a spot to turn around. Thank god my lady was calm and helped. The cabin is smaller than I thought. I know that the description was probably dead on but the pics tend to make it seem larger. It is totally serviceable for 2-4 people. I would say 2 is better. As stated, everything you need for cooking. But an upgrade to everything would be appreciated. We thrift stored Murphy on Black Friday. Th vets store had everything half priced. I almost spent about 150 on buying all the stuff that would make this cabin better. We don’t watch tv or use any of their electronics. The WiFi was good. Bed was ok. Big enough for us and my 2 king cavs to sleep on. Recliner was ok. The property was nice and fire pits are really good. Too cold for us to enjoy Overall if you are looking for less expensive and not quite top end, this will work.
Just what we needed! A quiet getaway to recharge for the night. We love going to the Casino in Murphy. This rental was in close proximity and allowed us to enjoy our time at the casino with a short ride “home”. If you’re looking for an intimate, quiet getaway, this is the place!
We had a great private weekend for 2. It was quiet and relaxing at the cabin. Everything was simple to access and we were close to several destinations and excursions. We really enjoyed the weekend!

The description led us to believe the bed was in a separate room rather than all in one big room. The mattress was so poor that my husband rolled of the edge while sound asleep and banged his head with a swollen bruise on his forehead and slightly blackened eyes.Nevertheless we enjoyed our time there.
This play was nithing short of amazing. The beauty is in the imperfections. If youre not ok with that then this is not for you. The owners are incredible and communicate very well and are very accomodating. We will definitely be back.
