"Very beautiful property!! The restaurant and activities next door are an awesome bonus. Room and building was clean, unfortunately it did seem like the walls were rather thin and if you had children near by you could definitely hear them. Additionally, staff tried to enter the room to clean twice before we had checked out of the room, and the internet/wifi/tv had major issues making it very hard to watch anything without constant buffering and interruption. Overall a really nice space, would stay here again"

"Check-in wasn’t horrible. Nice guy. The inside of the room wasn’t horrible but the floors were very dirty and the lighting was not good. The shower leaked outside of the curtain really bad. Did not have any floor mat with it. Had to use a towel. The sink didn’t get hot. Shower head was very high up and pointed straight down. Only had one shelf in the shower. The little built in shelves were sloped really bad and nothing would stay on them. The door knob to the room has obviously been hit with a police battering ram. A/C couldn’t keep up with the rising outside temps. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. The bedframe was on little wheels which made sex noisy and moving the bed across the room. The outside was very run down. One site I saw said there was a steakhouse on site……there wasn’t. Overall not a good place to stay. "

"While the property grounds and lake access were beautiful, our overall experience was very disappointing, especially given the price.The home was not cleaned to an acceptable standard before our arrival. We found a large clump of hair in a shower, dirty dishes and cookware in the kitchen, debris in the freezer, and candy wrappers left in a bedroom. While the property manager initially responded to our concerns, the condition of the home was unacceptable.We also discovered that a bedroom balcony door did not lock, creating a significant security concern. In addition, the listing advertised amenities such as shampoo, body wash, and beach towels. When we asked about them, we were told they were not provided, and the listing was changed during our stay. This was misleading and undermined our trust in the accuracy of the listing.On checkout day, staff entered the property at 11:17 a.m.—before the 12:00 p.m. checkout time—and began preparing rooms while we were still packing and gathering our belongings.Most disappointing was the lack of any meaningful response from the owner after these issues were raised. While the location is beautiful, it did not make up for the cleanliness problems, security concern, inaccurate listing information, and lack of accountability. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this property."

"Poorly maintained with broken doors, filthy kitchen, dirty kayaks, extremely old and scratched up pots/pans, cheap utensils, and horrible communication. We checked in on Friday with plans to cook a nice meal and enjoy the lake. The stove ran out of gas at 630. Upon notifying the host who found it very hard to believe that there was no gas, we spent the next four hours on the phone with VRBO and texting with the host trying to get gas. eventually got gas delivered around 11pm but not before we had to make a 20 minute trip to find an atm machine to pay the gas company because the host refused to come take care of the issue. Instead the host expected us to wait until sometime saturday to get the issue resolved. Gas company told us that the host had not refilled the propane in over a year.Internet instructions were completely wrong. Eventually host reset the internet and gave correct credentials. Meanwhile the water on the property from the faucets had an extremely pungent smell. The stench was unbearable. Turns out the host had not replaced some filters and eventually on Saturday the maintenance guy came to replace those. Stove had dead bugs on it. Master bedroom closet had a broken door just leaning against the wall. The two kayaks that are advertised were thrown down on the grass with paddles no where to be found. Dock had a broken rubber liner with nails. see pics attached. None of the lamps had bulbs. Master bdrm is missing the door curtain, Good luck sleeping"
