Cozy cottage with a hot tub on the bay of fundy

"This property was perfect. You can feel the love and care that has gone in to making this place amazing. So clean. Everything you need for as long as you need. I stayed 4 days. Next time it will be longer. Walks along the bay of fundi were so fun. So close to great food and beautiful walks. The sunset over the bay was spectacular! I am so grateful for such a fine place and the excellent communication with Jessica. She is the best. All good things at the cozy cabin."

"This is a brand new property that is less than 10 minutes from New Minas and less than 15 minutes from downtown Wolfville, situated on a peaceful, large, tree-lined lot with zero ambient/traffic noise. The property consists of nine units in total and would be perfect for a large, related group. The host, Tracey, was excellent - easy to communicate with and her check-in instructions were clear and complete. She reached out to me a day ahead and told me that the room I was assigned had an unexpected issue with the heat pump so she proactively moved me to another unit at the property that was larger. Her proactive approach reinforced to me that this is a very conscientious and customer-oriented host. The bathroom was a nice size with a shower where you can sit down and there was a large fridge, a microwave and other appliances, cups, utensils, etc. to make your stay comfortable and enable you to make some basic meals. Each room also has an external patio space and there is a communal BBQ. This is a thoughtfully designed property that provided a pleasant stay on all levels at a very fair price point. I would unhesitatingly stay here again."

"What a lovely, peaceful spot. We came to Nova Scotia without much of a plan and were lucky enough to find this availability. This area is so beautiful, filled with seaside villages, farms and markets. What a great opportunity to enjoy the bay without the hustle and bustle of the cities. The apartment was perfect - spotlessly clean, casual yet plush, fully equipped, and ocean views!"

On the Edge of Fundy Private Cottage Getaway

"Our immediate reaction to this house was "wow!" We found it much larger than we were expecting and we found it well-appointed and comfortable. There was room for our two families [one couple and one family of three] to share time together but also to have our own spaces if we wished. Although we were not used to removing shoes in the house as required, the clean, light-toned carpeting felt soft underfoot, although in the downstairs bedroom it interfered with the opening of the closet door. We did feel that the shower stall in the lower bathroom, although adequate, did not quite live up to the ambience of the rest of the facilities. One of our number was hoping to find a coffee grinder after he bought beans by mistake – but maybe we missed it. The garden is extensive, naturally beautiful and well maintained. It is surrounded by trees that also form a protective barrier from the sharp drop to the water. The property feels secluded, if you can use such a word to describe one with an expansive view over the Bay of Fundy! It is a great place for bird watching; from eagles to warblers. The garage was clean and spacious, but we did not attempt to drive our wide rental minivan over the sill and through the door! Our hosts were responsive, friendly and helpful in text or on-line communications, but they also allowed us our privacy. Overall, a perfect place for a family reunion and a significant birthday celebration!"

"This was a very clean, lovely place to stay. The pool is nice and the area is gorgeous rural Nova Scotia. Stores aren’t far away. There was some construction going on in the unit beside. Other than that, it was a very nice stay!"
