Alan and Aryna were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble for them. A lovely warm greeting on arrival, a tour of our cabin and all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was amazing with endless amounts offered of fresh produce, fresh fruit, yougurt, cereals etc, not to mention the delicious fresh croissants and danishes every morning. Alan and Aryna even gave us water bottles for our walk to Kondalilla Falls. Cabin was beautiful, clean and everything for comfort and relaxation, so peaceful. Cannot recommend enough. Will definitely be back again.

Beautiful tranquil location, the little cottages feel like you are in middle of rainforest. Allan and Aryna are wonderful hosts, so many extras ...local produce, ample food provisions port, chocolates, luxury towels, huge spa bath. Perfect to relax and indulge your senses.

Stunningly secluded cottages walking distance to Kondalilla walking tracks and minutes from Montville cafes and galleries. Attentive hosts and highly recommended. Can highly recommend it and we’ll definitely return.

The Falls was one of the loveliest places we have stayed. We were made to feel so welcome it was like coming home. Such a beautiful and quiet location but central to shopping and eateries. The little touches like pastries left each morning are just beautiful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will be back for sure.

Staying at The Falls Montville was the most relaxing and beautiful weekend away we have every had. The hosts were so welcoming and we felt at home from the moment we checked in. We were totally impressed with our 2 night stay in a beautiful rainforest luxury cabin , Really nice and helpful owners made our time there relaxing . We couldn't believe it when we stepped in to our fully self contained comfortable spacious spa cabin how well presented and clean it was , there were freshly cut colourful Rose's throughout , complimentary gourmet snacks included, and even a Weber BBQ on the balcony so you can cook a juicy Steak which we do took advantage of , Overall we had the best time and highly recommend , we will definitely return for a longer stay next time , thanks for the excellent hospitality to all the Team 😇🙏

The staff went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable eg. They phoned restaurants to make reservations on our behalf. My partner and I stayed in the Tamarind cottage for our anniversary. We got a very friendly greeting by Management on arrival, treated with a glass of fresh orange juice whilst we checked in and filled in on the area and dining options available. On our first night we opted for dinner at Flaxton Gardens, we were dropped off and picked up by Management, with no extra charge. The cottage was perfect, great amenities, secluded and lots of food included for included. Even fresh pastries delivered to the door each day. On departure we were treated to a great coffee. Highly recommend this accommodation and management are faultless.

The Falls is the nicest property in Queensland. The owners went out of their way to do everything in their power to make us feel special. We will return to these cottages in the woods, the most unique place we have ever booked.

Uniquely situated in close (walking) proximity to Kondalilla Falls and Montville/Flaxton, beautiful villages. Unique, secluded rainforest setting for cottages, charming, professional and fabulous hosts, cottages had all the amenities we could ask for, beautiful local breakfast provisions (Maleny yoghurt and milk, fresh pastries!).

Cosy cabin stay

Romantic getaway for two
A beautiful cottage hidden away in a private rainforest. A great place for us to celebrate our anniversary and to have a short break from the realities of life. The hosts are amazing and the service second to none. Every little detail thought of. Would highly recommend. My only regret is not staying longer.

We were welcomed by our hosts Aryna and Alan. Alan escorted us to the cottages which are nestled in a lovely rain forest. There was tranquil music playing in the cottage which set the mood from the start. The cottage was a very clean, big open space with a great big bath for 2. If you don’t want to leave the peace and quiet, take some dinner food to cook but there are lots of dinner choices close by and Alan helped us with reservations. The breakfast basket provided enough for both brekky and lunch and the fresh croissants in the morning added to the charm. It’s the most relaxed I have felt in a long time. Can’t wait to go back.

Scenic and serene place to unwind.
Location is stunning and accommodation is outstanding.Beautifully appointed cottages that are completely private and set in rainforest with abundant wildlife. Wonderful cottage (Rose Apple) overlooking the trees and fields beyond. Plenty of space both inside and out. Absolutely superb breakfast ingredients provided - all locally sourced and so much we sadly couldn't finish it all during our 2 days. Beautiful secluded cottage for the perfect escape.

Cosy cottage
We stepped back in time to a charming cottage. Alan & Aryna took the time to get to know us and brought us all our breakfast needs, beautifully presented in a basket. We were treated to port and chocolates in our cottage and on arrival a refreshing orange juice and water. Every effort was made to give us a Montville experience including local milk, yogurt, bread and fresh fruits. Each morning a plate of hot fresh croissants was delivered to our cottage. A farewell gift of a large pineapple was the icing on the cake. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The cottage access via our gently sloping 145 metre rainforest boardwalk is a feature of the property and is loved by most visitors but is not ideal for all guests and definitely not suited to wheelchair access. Hi Robin. Thanks for your review and we fully agree with what you say regarding WIFI. Sadly, our wifi is ADSL as no other service is currently available to us. (We have invested in the latest technology on the property so as to be ready for MDN when it gets here) Thus the current speed of the wifi is limited. It works fine for emails, facebook etc but if many cottages go up at the same time, speed is limited for things like Netflix. Many of our guests come to get away from phones and wifi and to enjoy nature and rainforest comfort, but for those that want high speed wifi, The Falls is not the place...
