Quick and easy check in. Central location for the Montrose area and Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Our family of 5 enjoyed our time there, kids loved the front yard and porch swing. Enough sleeping and bathroom space for us all.

Great location

This home was the perfect spot for our adventure to Black Rock of the Gunnison. It was also close to downtown restaurants and a large well stocked grocery store. Worked out well for me and my family.

The house is charming and exceptionally well-equipped. We had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Its location is convenient, close to town and just ten minutes from the wedding venue. A grocery store is located right down the street, and it’s only a few miles to town. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were modern and clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and appliances for making breakfast and lunch — we just supplied the food. It was great!

Comfortable Stay

The house was nice. It was clean and roomy enough for four people. It was close to the Black Canyons and a short drive to restaurants for dinner since we chose not to cook. The instructions were thorough. We did not need to contact our host at all.

Home away from home

Our stay was so great - from good communication with the host, to the comfortable, safe space itself, to being able to do some laundry and cook at home, to the cleanliness and overall quality of the home, to the distance to great restaurants, breweries, distilleries, etc... we truly enjoyed our stay here, and will definitely stay again when in the area next. thank you!

Great place to rest while exploring the mountains

Barbara was an excellent host, very attentive to our needs. Even taking her time to look for my son's lost keys. The kithen was well furnished. Really appreciated use of the laundry room and the furnished cleaning supplies. Overall great experience. Thank you!

Property as described

We found the house as depicted well stocked kitchen with extras. Very comfortable bed plenty of supplies. Location is very close to town and restaurants. Our only issue was it is on a busy street and people driving way too fast and kids with noisy cars must be a thing in Montrose. We would rent again.

Montrose

Our group consisted of 2 couples and we were on a 10 day vacation working our way through Colorado. We stayed 2 nights at Barbara's place and were very happy with our stay. It is an older home but remodeled beautifully. We were very comfortable and pleased. We would strongly recommend. Thank you.

Nice location

Nice location with comfy bed. I would have given 5 stars except for a lot of dishes in the cupboards were dirty which may not be fair as it likely had to do with previous visitors. There was an off putting smell in the living room but then again I have a pretty string sense of smell, but my son did mention it too. Overall a well laid out home with plenty of space for our family.
