Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans cette propriété située sur un grand terrain près de l’eau. Maison ancienne vaste et bien équipée. Notre hôte était accueillante et rapide à répondre à nos demandes. Fortement recommandée.

Vie de château près d'Angers

Ne connaissant nullement la région angevine, nous souhaitions cependant profiter de cette "douceur de vivre" comme a su le faire Joachim du Bellay, en septembre où j'ai fêté mon anniversaire dans le calme et la verdure. Niché à 8 km du château d'Angers, et à la limite de la ville de Montreuil-Juigné, se trouve un castel (Maison ou Château selon l'appellation locale), qui remonte à une époque lointaine, qui a subi des évolutions au fil du temps (ex : les fenêtres de style neo-renaissance posées sans doute au XIXe où les romans d'A. Dumas incitaient certains propriétaires à construire ou aménager des parties en néo-gothique, néo-renaissance etc), au milieu d'un grand parc, proche de la Mayenne qu'on peut longer à pied ou en vélo par un long chemin de halage aménagé. Des dizaines de châteaux aux alentours, un parc botanique, une ville historique, des musées, des balades sur le fleuve, dîner et danser dans une guinguette des bords d'étangs ou de fleuve ... tout est là pour passer un séjour réussi. Pays du dressage du cheval , nous avions les nôtres dans le parc de la maison... Bref ... c'est un pays à découvrir, Angers est une ville jeune et dynamique aux nombreux prix de 1er de sa classe (notamment côté écologie). La cuisine traditionnelle côtoie toutes les audaces culinaires. Donc, la situation de notre séjour était idéal, à 15 mn du château d'Angers. Nous disposions d'une partie de la maison basse qui jouxte le château, soit presque 70 m2. Rien ne manquait et en plus, baigné par le soleil du matin, on a pu prendre nos repas à l'extérieur. L'accueil fut chaleureux, les propriétaires se sont toujours faits discrets et nous avons donc passé un séjour où le bruissement des feuilles et le chant des oiseaux nous ont accompagnés. Je ne saurais recommander cette location à qui aime les arts, la nature et ... le silence (a contrario Angers à encore beaucoup de travail pour obtenir le 1er prix du silence (;o)
