Close to Nîmes (18 km), Sommières and the Roman Tiberius Bridge (10 km), Uzès (35 km), the Cévennes, the Gardon River, the Camargue
    , and the Mediterranean Sea (Espiguette Beach, 38 km). Here you’ll find yourself in a region rich in cultural, historical, wine-making, and culinary traditions.
    In the village: a bakery, a tobacco shop/café/convenience store. A playground for children and tennis courts nearby. Pizza food lorry on Fridays.
    The cottage is located at the foot of the castle, in the heart of the “circulade.”

Gîte à découvrir

Niché dans le village de Montpezat, non loin du Gardon, le gîte de la Calade est placé dans le cœur même du village, structure en pierre, bien réagencée, très cosy en gris et blanc style champêtre. Très belle vaisselle. Les Plus : calme et reposant, propre, hôtes extrêmement sympathiques et disponibles. Les Moins : Accès à la chambre un peu dangereux (escalier peint en blanc, plusieurs fois nous avons glissé) et l'étage mansardé pour dormir ne convient pas forcément pour les grandes statures (on se cogne !) ; Équipement général (vaisselle/ustensiles) limité pour deux personnes ; pas de fenêtres pour la vue (1 velux et 1 fenêtre en hauteur dans l'escalier, dommage de ne pas voir l'extérieur !) ; l'extérieur est à la descente des escaliers, nous n'y sommes allés qu'1 fois car pas vraiment attenant ou accessible aisément pour se restaurer) ; climatiseur très bruyant ! Avec 42° dehors il avait peut-être du mal ! Mais en conclusion : on recommande le gîte pour son charme à l'ancienne, le rapport qualité prix et la possibilité de venir avec un animal

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Trotz Hitze war die FeWo durch die Klimaanlage angenehm und in der Nacht konnte man schlafen. Die Umgebung bietet viele Ausflugsziele, die mit dem Auto zu erreichen sind. Die Vermieterin ist ein Engel und hat bei Schwierigkeiten geholfen und Tipps gegeben. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!!

Nature et Culture au pays Nimois

Une belle nature à découvrir le long du Gardon avec baignade au pont du Gard. De jolis villages et l'histoire de Nimes et ses arènes. Nous avons profité de le région pour se baigner à la plage de l'espiguette et visiter Avignon ainsi que la Bambouseraie.

Wunderschöne kleine Ferienwohnung

Wir waren mit unseren zwei Hunden für zwei Nächte in Montpezat. Die Gastgeberin war äusserst freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Wohnung ist wunderschön eingerichtet mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Es fehlt an gar nichts. Alles ist neu und sehr sauber. Es gibt wirklich absolut gar nichts negatives bei dieser Wohnung. Auch die Umgebung ist einmalig. Wir würden diese Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen und können sie nur weiterempfehlen. Herzlichen Dank an Valérie für die tolle Gastfreundschaft.
