"Great hotel. & dog friendly. Good location in old town lots of bars and restaurants. Overnight stop over travelling through to southern Spain. Had a really top class meal in on-site restaurant. Will definitely use this hotel as our regular stop off. Underground car park had a height restriction of 1.85 bit tight turns with 4x4 but manageable "

"As a family of 6 adults and 2 children we stayed here for just over a week in August 2025. We were attending a wedding at Chateau de la Couronne in Marthon.The house had everything we needed, the children loved the pool, we had several bbqs and also visited Brantome and St Estephe.The bakery and supermarket in Javelhac (10 mins drive) were more than sufficient for our everyday needs.We had 3 amazingly clear nights and were treated to the best skies Ive seen since visitng the outback in Australia - even 'STEVE' made an appearance.The only thing to note is that it is the 3rd bedroom (with double bed and bunks) that had the very low door, which makes it a bit awkward for adults,but we made it work.Overall we had a fab time and would love to return."
