Find a Great Motel Monticello

"This property worked well with our family group of 10. We had 5 adults; 4 teens and 1 10-year-old. 3 bedrooms for the adults; the media room with flexible futons for the teen girls; and another room with futons for the 2 guys (1 teen and 1 10-yr-old). We set up a folding table in the open kitchen for more dining space. The 3 bathrooms were great with plenty of towels for daily showers and plenty of hot water! Outdoor space was great with 2 docks, boat ramp, fire pit and much more. My husband's grandparents had a cottage on Lake Shafer when he was growing up and this place helped us create the same kind of memory-making opportunity in 2024 that my hubby had when he was a kid. We spent 1 day at Indiana Beach Amusement Park and would highly recommend! The host was very attentive and was quick to respond to questions. It was a great stay... and we would seriously consider a return visit!"

"We had a great time here MDW. The deck was perfect for lounging while we did crosswords and played cards, and we had many meals out there. On rainy days, the couch was comfy for lounging and watching our favorite shows. The cottage has a very well equipped kitchen - I usually bring a few kitchen things of my own because I never know what to expect, and they had everything we needed including good knives, basic oil and spices, and plenty of pots and pans. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Our family had a wonderful time staying here. The backyard has stunning views of the Tippecanoe River. My boys had so much fun fishing from their dock and they caught a lot of fish too. The house is beautifully decorated, clean and cozy. I really enjoyed relaxing in the hammock in the backyard while looking out at the river. We liked how the house is located close to Indiana Beach park, the bait shop and restaurants. Thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We're hoping to be back soon."

"Property was basically a motel. Could use some spiffing up. You park right in front of your door so that is convenient. The bathroom ceiling had mold on it; otherwise the room was clean. The breakfast was store box donuts not from bakery section, toast, cereal or yogurt. The coffee was good and the hotel staff was friendly and they were there to fill the breakfast area as needed. The pool was outside and it was nice."

"The property owner and staff were personable, attentive and responsive. Our cottage was perfect - plenty of room and the amenities were comfortable. We have stayed here in the past, and will continue to stay here on our visits to Monticello. Highly recommended."
