"We learned about Indiana Beach and Monticello from a Tik Tok account of someone who travels small towns in the midwest. We immediately booked this RV because of its location and because it would be our first time staying in one. Everything was perfect-great communication, cleanliness of property, the area is quiet, water is warm but it is well-so plan accordingly. We loved out stay and really loved Monticello. "

"This is a beautiful property. Everything has been updated and is very beautiful. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and the property was VERY clean. Melissa was great to work with. We were very pleased with our stay and would rent again. The only issue we had was that the doors upstairs to the bedrooms and bathroom stuck and were unable to be closed. I communicated this with the owner and she said she would fix the issue asap so I doubt it will be an issue moving forward. I would highly...

Fall and Winter at Lake Shafer

10/10 Excellent

"This was just the right place to meet our family form Montana! Beautiful sunrise and plenty of things for our littles to do! Clean Clean!! Would highly recommend!"

Charming Cottage on Lake Shafer-optional Pontoon! Screened gazebo and swim deck!

10/10 Excellent

"Our family had a wonderful stay October 15–18, 2026! The property was clean and welcoming, and we especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly so our dog could join us.Kelly was a gracious and accommodating host. Her communication was excellent—she answered all our questions quickly and was very flexible, making everything easy from start to finish. The deck was a highlight of our stay. The lake views were beautiful, especially at sunset, and we enjoyed a great family barbecue out there. Sharing a meal together with that gorgeous backdrop made for some special memories.Thank you, Kelly, for helping make our family getaway such a wonderful experience. We would happily stay again and highly recommend this property!"

Alexanders Landing

8/10 Good

"One doesn't go to Indiana Beach to stay in the hotel room. The most incredibly wonderful things about Alexander's is location. Steps away from the park. Walk and return to the hotel and use multiple entry park passes. Second is the amazing outdoor patio. I researched and know that over $20,000 was spent just in outdoor furniture overlooking Shafer Lake. Opportunities to cook out, corn hole, and water sports and an indoor pool. The room #7 had a full kitchen, very small bathroom, and two double beds. What an amazing stay except.... Mattresses need to be replaced. And the steps down to reach the room: Huge steps and no handrails. Yes, we are in our mid-80s. I know you are thinking we should stay home in our rocking chairs until we die. (We don't own rocking chairs). It was easier to use the hillside beside the steps. All in all. Please know we were extremely happy with our stay."

Spacious 5 bdr Lake Shafer house with breathtaking view

10/10 Excellent

"Very comfortable and clean for our group of 10,nice views of the lake,Kroger just 5 minutes away, Tippacanoe Country Club just minutes away for a round of golf, could have used a couple of new skillets and a 9x13 casserole dish for cooking needs, the middle of the decks could use an upgrade, enjoyed our stay, thank you"
