  • Property has 3 bedrooms and one bath with brand new covered patio. Hotel quality mattresses and linens. Plenty of parking in this large lake front lot. Home has brand new hung TVs in every room- enjoy Netflix after a long day at the beach. 2 kayaks are provided for instant lake access.

Cutest little house on the lake. Super easy check in. Accessibility and communication with property manager was prompt and addressed all of our needs in real time. We would most definitely stay here again. It was the perfect little getaway to relax before my daughter's wedding.

Great Cottage on the Lake

We stayed at this lakeside cottage for five days and overall had a good time. The cottage itself was cozy and clean, with three bedrooms that comfortably fit our group of six. The outdoor space was definitely a highlight — plenty of room to relax, soak up the sunshine, and take in the beautiful lake view.Unfortunately, the lake was quite full of algae during our stay, which made it unsuitable for swimming or fishing. That was disappointing, especially since we’d been looking forward to spending more time in the water. Thankfully, the kids still had a blast kayaking, and the peaceful setting made for some relaxing afternoons.Inside, everything was functional, but the bathroom water had a strange smell and discoloration that made us a bit uneasy.As for the surrounding town, it’s pretty quiet — not a lot of shopping options — but we did enjoy a visit to the nearby amusement park and checked out one of the local wineries. Golfers would probably enjoy the area too.All in all, it’s a nice spot if you're looking for a low-key retreat and plan to spend most of your time outdoors.

Had so much fun on the lake soaking in the sun, grilled steaks and chilled around fire pit. These memories will last a lifetime. Our family loved this comfy lake house.

Lake Shafer Cottage vacation

Cute little cottage. Very clean. Owner prompt to answer questions and easy to contact. We had a wonderful time relaxing with comfortable outside seating; especially down by lake and docks. We’re lucky to use new concrete patio on waters edge! Friendly neighbors nice area. Our daughter and grandsons sharing time togather. Thanks to Mike for sparing his lake house !

Last Minute Trip Made Easy

We decided on the spur of the moment to rent a nearby place on the lake to enjoy the last of the fall sunshine. The owners made it easy and we were booked in no time. Even though the kitchen and living room was compact, it was cute, had everything we needed and could easily lodge 8 sleepers. We enjoyed our stay!
