"We loved the house, view, and outdoor area! We had 4 adults and 4 children between the ages of 6 and 10 and we all slept comfortably. The outdoor area was perfect and the whole family jumped right into the water off the dock and enjoyed swimming in the lake! There were several life jackets in an outdoor storage area that were perfect! We did pack a few tubes for swimming and those came in handy. The house was stocked with every kitchen gadget and grill utensil we needed! The host quickly responded to any and every message sent. Our stay was perfect and we would recommend this house for anyone wanting to visit the area!"

"This is an ideal location for adults looking for a quiet getaway with a spectacular view, which peers down approximately 50' to the river which is accessible via steep cinder block stairs etched into the landscape. The well laid out cottage is very comfortable and close to restaurants and shopping. The cottage was also nicely appointed with cooking utensils and bathroom supplies. We had a great time! "This is the 2nd year we have gone there in the Summer. I am so happy that we found this place. It is tucked away in a little private corner without all of the traffic and noise. It is very cute and furnished with all you need. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT."

"This Lakehouse is 'more' than advertised... Brian and Allison have thought of and provided everything... it really is 'in the details'. Our daughters booked this house for their Dad's 60th belated bday present with our whole Fam and our 41st Wedding Anniversary. It did not disappoint! The house was as pictured and so much more... Tucked in a peaceful cove with a spacious and nice dock on the water looking out into the open water of Lake Freeman. A beautiful yard with a little brook and a bridge which of course intrigued our granddaughter. The house is spacious with bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas on each level and all so beautifully decorated. Luxurious is correct in their description of the property. The outdoor living space is amazing with a wraparound upper deck which covers the lower patio for those rainy days when yard games are necessary. When I say details.... I mean, plush towels and linens, the good tp and paper towels, hey, it's important! :) And, baggies and trash bags, etc. Brian and Allison were very kind and responsive to all my questions. Markus, the property manager, was very friendly and fun to chat with. All in all, this was a fabulous trip for our Family and look forward to staying here again."

"This property worked well with our family group of 10. We had 5 adults; 4 teens and 1 10-year-old. 3 bedrooms for the adults; the media room with flexible futons for the teen girls; and another room with futons for the 2 guys (1 teen and 1 10-yr-old). We set up a folding table in the open kitchen for more dining space. The 3 bathrooms were great with plenty of towels for daily showers and plenty of hot water! Outdoor space was great with 2 docks, boat ramp, fire pit and much more. My husband's grandparents had a cottage on Lake Shafer when he was growing up and this place helped us create the same kind of memory-making opportunity in 2024 that my hubby had when he was a kid. We spent 1 day at Indiana Beach Amusement Park and would highly recommend! The host was very attentive and was quick to respond to questions. It was a great stay... and we would seriously consider a return visit!"

"Front desk was very nice and helped us out when needed. We enjoyed the room. Only problem was the bath tub has a huge ring of grim where you stand because the water doesnt drain properly. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay"
