It's the perfect location for those needing somewhere close to FCO airport for morning flights etc. Our room and the hotel more generally were spotlessly clean. Their bar operates 24/7 and the restaurant and pizzeria right across the road provides great tasting and great value Italian cuisine. We'd happily stay here again when flying in and out of FCO.

Pros: - Clean room with distinct Roman charm - Nice building - Friendly staff Cons: - Hairdryer would overheat and stop working after only a few minutes of using it - If you're above the 1st floor, the building has a weird layout where you must take an elevator up from ground floor to the first floor, walk past rooms, then get onto a second elevator to reach your floor (it's also slow/small - we found ourselves taking the stairs more than once). - Despite what Google may say, if you're booking through Expedia, the breakfast is not free or included unless you explicitly include it. - If you're not keen on walking, this location is a bit further from tourist attractions (expect ~25min to the Trivie fountain, and ~40min to the Colosseum). - The room I stayed in had stairs in it, ~5 steps leading from the main door/bathroom entrance to the bedroom (might not be a con for you). - The AC randomly reset higher when we were away - The bathtub is high, and I say that as a 6'4" man - I hit my shin on it trying to get out. The bathtub also doesn't have a door, so the bathroom floor gets soaked. - The shower has a weird design where the cord wraps around the temperature handles and at times will change the temperature on you. Expect random heat blasts followed by random cold bursts when moving around. Overall, the stay was fine for the duration we had in Rome. Would I say it was worth the price that we paid, likely not - but the problems encountered weren't major or vacation ruining.

The hotel was very nice in a local neighbourhood near a beautiful park. I enjoyed the local food options. The only problem was that it was far away from everything.

We stayed here one night and it was perfect! Our child loved playing in the playground outside, and the blackout blinds were great for sleeping. Only negative is the room sound insulation - we can hear other people from their rooms if they were noisy.

Absolutely wonderful staff,clean rooms,and very secure hotel too if thats something your looking for,very unique experience about a 45 min walk from the vatican museum metro station near by down the street is some really good cafes
