Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay
The lobby of the hotel is very nice with a decent restaurant and bar. The location is excellent as it's right in the heart of downtown Monterey and a short walk to Cannery Row. My biggest complaint is that the beds and the pillows are not very good.

The Monterey Hotel
No onsite parking but public parking guide available at reception. Located a 5 minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf, not to be confused with Cannery Row which is 1 mile up the road. Clean room and helpful staff!
